No. His original claim is here.

Most Americans are.
The 60% was to back up that claim (and even if it's 56%, that still backs his claim).

burgerbrain said: Also how do you know the number of illegals in the USA? It could be 10x that for all you know
The estimate is around 12 million. You think it might be 120 million?
There was a reason I stopped arguing with burgerbrain. Time to stop again.
Who said it was 120 million? I said "for all you know." Keyword: You and your liberal intelligence
Yeah you should stop debating me because you lose every time.

The standard of living for 99% of U.S. citizens is unsustainable and should be lowered. The rest of the world is living in abject poverty in comparison. What makes you think that you're entitled to live the life of luxury while the rest of the world suffers?
ROFL, hilarious. When are you giving your life saving to the 3rd world, lawyer?
Change first starts with the individual
Well burgerbrain, I agree with all of your post, other than the "lawyer" bit; I suspect it is merely another run of the mill attorney, instead, taking $$$ from drug addicts finding themselves in trouble with the law (its reason for being upon this message board...free advertising, ya know).
Dearest Enlil, what causes you to believe it is our government's responsibility to to govern those within other countries? If their government is is FAILing, those citizens should purge the government (just like we are now doing with our own ).

Firstly... he doesn't have 'unprecedented support'. Roosevelt had 'unprecedented support'. Kennedy had 'unprecedented support'.
You forgot to include Ronald Reagan
I think Eisenhower would be a better 3rd pick than Reagan, however, the point was that Trump doesn't have 'unprecedented support' by any stretch of the imagination.

I gathered it from this (and probably other posts, idk): "...while the rest of the world suffers?"
Anyway, are you somehow under the impression that the "rest of the world" outside of our own country is "suffer"ing, and if so, do you believe that we are responsible for it?

Certainly, most of the world is suffering. A toilet is a luxury that billions don't enjoy. Are we responsible? That sounds like a philosophical question and not really the scope of this discussion. I'll say that resources are limited, however, and there aren't enough resources for the entire planet to enjoy the luxuries that our poor have.
Whether you feel responsible for the plight of others is your personal choice. I feel that if there is something that I can do to help, I should. As a result, I donate six figures a year for such things. You don't have to do that, of course, and I would never suggest that the government has any business taking your money and doing it for you.

hmm, well, some of us give to the church for such purposes, and we do not boast about having done so, nor about the amount.

I was patiently awaiting the Trump response to it. I happen to agree with it, as I do many things that he says; however, he will not receive my vote during the preferred presidential primary:
Trump said, “I think it’s just terrible and, in fact, The New York Post did a big story today that it totally backfired. To have young kids using that language is a disgrace. And it’s totally backfired and people are going wild about it and saying we’re going to support Trump. Anybody that would do an ad like that is stupid to be honest. I mean they are stupid people would do an ad like. And it has backfired.”

I certainly couldn't find any source that supported your ridiculous claim. You probably couldn't either, which is why you haven't cited a source.
I guess we'll have to assume you pulled that claim out of your ass.
