Re: The Trump Phenomenon [Re: Stonehenge]

The problem with Trump is that he's making really good points. That's why he's still there. The other problem with Trump is that when he talks, you can't stop yourself from listening. What most people hate even more is that he's right...

His adversaries keeps saying he's a joke... The thing is, if the joke has 5 times more support than you do, what does that say about you?

Oh, and here's another unforseen problem about Trump. He's walking the gray zone between liberal and conservative. So he's appealing to the undecided moderate, he's appealing to the far right extremeists because they will vote for any Republican candidate over the Democrats even if it's a gorilla in suit. Bernie is too far on the left for most. So he positioned himself perfectly.

I find it smart that he doesn't give details from the get go like everyone else. It's not an easy decision like chosing what shirt to wear in the morning. All the other candidates seem to have it all figured out... The election is more than a year away. Lots can happen. I'd rather he took his time thinking and building solid policies and publish one every month (it'll keep the public interested) than vomiting everything right away and giving a year for his opponent to over analyze everything saying than nothing will work.
