I am far from ever being on a commercial scale, but I totally agree that if you are in it for the long haul you definitely get what you pay for. I have an appreciation for well built and designed stuff, just looking at an All American PC it's a thing of beauty IMO. It costs more because they didn't cut any corners trying to make it more affordable, they just built the best.

Possessions. Possessions. Possessions. Got to have the most fancy this and the most fancy that so I can go on the internet and gloat about it. I would rather spend the extra money, that I saved not buying those fancy over priced things, on more grain and such. When I own something, it's always up for sale, for the right price. There is one thing I am certain of in this world. When you die, you will be taking none of those possessions with you. So to be honest with yourself, you have to realize you do not own your possessions but rather your possessions own you.

You are talking to someone who has lost everything three times, you have no idea who I am or what I have been through to say my possessions own me buddy. Possessions aren't important, but there is nothing wrong with having nice things while you can.

I wasn't attacking you, buddy. So calm down. I was responding to hamloaf's post and just goofing around.

I am going through a rough time right now and I guess I took it personal, I apologize.

this is cubensis on 100% worm castings I made with a worm bin. this is not heat treated, or limed, or anything. just standard red wiggler bin, fed, waited, harvested castings w/o worms (or maybe i left some in there too), then spawned 1 qt of bacteria grain.

im not confident this particular grow will work well, but considering its bacteria spawn, and eating it w/o issue, i will try again with clean spawn.

I can't wait to see how this turns out. Especially since I did not realize that you like to go off the beaten path. I always saw you as a straight shooter.

Awesome. I am a nutrition guy myself. I like the idea of making your my own worm castings. I like to be as self sufficient as possible and have many goals I need to accomplish to get to where I need to be. Can you point me in the right direction for making my own worm castings?
By the way, would you like to borrow my mycology text book that you were asking me about a while back? I will pay to ship it to you if you pay to ship it back to me, when you're done with it.

Interesting looking caps/stipes. May just be the lighting.
What variety is that?
