PLEASE HELP improvising a fruiting method

I have 3 pint jars probably about 2-3 weeks passed full colonization.
My roommate says the mushrooms will stink up the house and says I have a better chance putting them outside....
2 jars are properly contained with miniscule pinning but one of them got knocked over during colonization and mixed with the dry verm layer. This has caused massive pinning at the top of the jar and there are at least 10 pins longer than an inch.
It's supposed to be cool and rainy the next few days so I was thinking maybe putting the fruiting jar in the shed and pouring a little bottled water on the top for added moisture/humidity.
The other 2 should be fine for another week until I can figure something out but I guess I'm just askingif trying to nourish the ffruits pinning from the top is a good idea?
I'll post pictures soon, I'm at work and the only picture I have was from 3 days ago with only ~5 big pins

Mushrooms won't stink up a house. If you're going to fruit it outside, just bury the cakes. Mushrooms will pop from the ground when conditions allow them to.

Yeah I keep telling him that I know what I'm doing but he keeps telling me inaccuracies as to why I can't do it. He knows I have grown before but he won't trust me

Just answers his questions But if he doesn't want you fruiting in the house for some reason, just make a patch outside. It's easy, and IME, cubes will fruit any time of year. Even when it's 90 degrees and no rain.

What plant hardiness zone? I was getting fruits when nights got down to the 30s-40s at night during the spring .

Plant hardiness?
I'm more worried about heat and contains. It's just supposed to rain the next couple days.
Idk if it's going to heat up or get cold after that

Also contams are a lot more abundant and worrisome indoors. You can make an outdoor pile out of pure contamination crap and see pounds from the pile. At least I have, and I'm in a plant hardiness zone 2.

I'm in zone 8, and I can say similar things. I've tossed spent monotubs with trich and got tons of mushrooms. I've had them fruit in hot and cool temperatures. The coldest was around 40 degrees F on some nights.

This is kinda giving me hope.
Any suggestions on where to throw them like should I bury them just beneath the surface and water it? In the shade? Hard soil or soft?

If you're doing Cvg I'd recommend a pasteurization (to help the mycelium digest it) but manure you can do straight up without any pasteurization. Also the top soil you dig up would work great for covering it. Any depth really doesn't matter. I've done up to 3 inches deep with success but I prefer an inch or 2 under soil.

It's mushrooms not some dank ass bud. They don't stink and even if they did who would know what the smell was? Tell your roommate to stop being such a puss.

Plant hardiness fo my area is 7
I think I found a home for them. Should I go ahead and let the fruits mature from that one jar and birth it afterwards? I'm pretty sure I'll have at least a 25 gram flush from the looks of things

You could just open air fruit them out of the jar. Just mist them.

That's what I've been doing pretty much but there growth has stunted compared to the past 2 days. Soon as I get word about the new place I might just pick and dry em
