How can I find grants/scholarships for college?

I'm in my first year of college, freaking out about having to pay this tuition off. I did pretty good in highschool but I was stupid and didn't apply for any scholarships or grants except for a Pell grant.
I expect to get all A's this semester, is that worthy of getting a good chunk of tuition off with some scholarships and grants? What else would I need to do to get scholarships? join clubs/ frats? or sports? I'm already working here at the cafeteria.
Thanks for any and all help

not sure about the scholarships; i'd try google. but there's likely going to be lots of trash scams and shit. not to mention most are targeted; at females, at engineering students, at minorities, at ____, at ____, at _____.
for a white, middle-class, male, like myself, i didnt even bother looking around.
keep your job. talk to your counselors about sources to look through; they usually have a few on mind.
the best advice i can give you is to live frugally and try and borrow as little as possible. i did the whole "take out max each semester and live like a king" thing, and it's biting me in the financial ass.

In my experience its minority status that gets you a scholarship, not merit or need. I had both merit and need and I couldn't even apply to half the scholarships because they explicitly denied white males. I never got one and I witnessed richer minorities with worse grades scoop them all up.
If it weren't for the colorblind Pell Grant I would have got no assistance at all and would not have completed college (which in hindsight, may have been a good thing )

Whatever you do don't take out a crippling debt to go. After I graduated I kept doing construction and had plenty of people call me a fuck up for not going to college. I am doing MUCH better than the majority of my friends at this point who took out loans to go to school. Shit I am 3x as rich as my friend who went to vet school. Poor girl is going to be paying that shit off till she dies.
I usually tell people to look for union apprenticeships if they can't afford school on their own. Then down the line you can do something else if you want.
I will probably come in just shy of clearing 6 figs this year without a degree.
Ultimately, all I can really say is be careful man. Do your research before you INVEST in a degree.
