Fantastic shots, thanks for sharing.

With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

@grownright: Old growth forest moss and lichens are my faves too! I have to travel far from home to see them.
@cruisinalltheway: Cheers! Digging through my pics and found a gill shot I thought I lost added up top I think it's super neat!

Thats a bummer, I'm fortunate enough that my front yard has huge patches of it growing underneath a massive oak tree in the center of my yard. It's awesome when we get heavy rains. You can watch the yard get flooded, and then the moss absorbs all of it in no time at all after it stops raining. Then I go outside barefooted while its still sprinkling and rub my feet on the moss I love moss in between my toes

Nice photos!
The depth of field is a little too narrow on some of them, and the ISO noise is starting to show. To get better shots you are going to need a tripod, preferably one that can go really close to the ground. Try shooting at f16 / iso 200, and if your lens has vibration reduction remember to turn that off when you are using the tripod, or else the VR will cause blur. Use either a remote shutter release (wired recommended) or a 5 second delay so the camera doesn't move when you press the shutter.

Beautiful Pluteus. I only ever find the brown ones , but at least some of them bruise
Solid advice Alan. I really need to purchase a tripod like you've got, but I think a microscope might do more good at this point.
