What to do with a shitload of Pleurotus spawn?

I have a block of spawn and made of Corn cob, coffee grounds, and San Pedro cactus pulp. It's been pretty productive and has had 3 sizable flushes (last one was about 30-40 days ago). It's also got a 2"-3" layer of colonized mulch on the bottom. Now the weather too hot and dry to keep it moist enough to keep getting flushes and I don't want it to go to waste. I'm pretty sure it's dormant but still alive since the mycelium looks healthy and white, but it's bone-dry. Before I just had it outside and made sure to wet the layers of paper towels every few days and at one point I dunked it (one of the fruits afterwards was a good 8"-9" across)but it was a pain in the ass with such a big chunk of spawn. The weather has been weird lately because of the El Nino but usually cools down significantly around early-mid November.
Is it still usable or is it actually dead?
If it's alive what should I do with it until the weather gets cooler and more humid?

When I removed the paper towel layers to take pics a couple mushrooms had popped up without me noticing, so now the top is covered in spores. Probably good right? I already took prints from previous flushes.

The bottom had a bit of bacterial growth but it wasnt too bad and didn't spread to the rest of the block.

I thought that most mushrooms go into a state of dormancy when left without water? I've also heard of mushrooms being cloned from reconstituted dried tissue on the advanced mycology forum.
RR has stated that it's possible on multiple occasions. Here's one such occasion.

The stipe works better than the cap. This is not due to spores germinating, but due to the dried mushroom tissue rehydrating and beginning to grow again.

Hell...when I took it out of the plastic bag it was colonizing in a bunch of the chunks of colonized corn cob broke off (no fruiting had occurred yet and I started with spawn)....a few months afterwards there was some heavy rain and high humidity so oyster mushrooms were growing out from the ground because the colonized bits started growing when exposed to all the rain.
