Hey everybody I've decided its about time I should get around to my first post. I would like to get a couple species identified that I found between August and now found in Nova Scotia. Sorry for the lack of information in advance. D: I promise I'll do better next time!
Species #1:
Obviously some sort of waxy cap? For some reason it smelt strong of maple after drying for a couple weeks .
Habitat: Dry moss.
Gills: White.
Stem: Tan and somewhat fragile.
Cap: Dark brown.
Spore print color: Was not observed.
Bruising: Was not observed.
Species #2:
I didn't really do much looking into these myself but could they be laughing gyms?..
Habitat: Dead wood.
Gills: Tan/Orange.
Stem: Tan and thick also hollow near bottom.
Cap: Tan/Orange.
Spore print color: Was not observed.
Bruising: Did not change.
Species #3:
I kept finding these like crazy throughout August. Lots of them were all just yellow with no other colors. I'm thinking this could be Amanita muscaria var. guessowii but I would love to know for sure .
Habitat: Under bushes near pine trees.
Gills: White.
Stem: White, thick and hollow.
Cap: Yellow.
Spore print color: Was not observed.
Bruising: Was not observed.

great first post! nice pics too, if you have any gill shots to add it would help the first one (at least for novices like me.)
i'd say your two last guesses are pretty good ones

#1 is Mycena #2 Maybe Gymnopilus or Pholiota, gill color and spore print color is important. #3 is an Amanita of some kind.

Thanks guys! I must apologize again for the lack of info. To put minds at ease I would never go about eating any mushrooms without 100% identification as I do value my life :P Happy shrooming
