Living life without any intellectual model of it

Is this a good idea?
McKenna said "this is the door that has been marked 'crazy' but perhaps it is really the door marked 'freedom'"
Can we slowly detach from our ideas and condition ourselves to be totally free of any intellectual model of life?
Yet live, and live well? Will we be satisfied with this element of life, if it is an element of life, missing?
My case worker (mental health) has been telling me I overthink almost everything and that I'm always trying to reach 'conclusions' and that life has no conclusions. I don't know how qualified he is to say that, but it rings true.
I never thought, though, perhaps the answer lies in knowing very little, rather than knowing much.
Perhaps it just pays to never be so certain.
I remember a quote, I think it was Aldous Huxley, "Only fanatics know for certain."

Fuckin-A brother, right on. It's the whole:
I only know one thing, and that is that i know nothing. --Socrates
Type argument. I think there's real merit to it. Tricky part is, keeping focused and not letting yourself get dragged back into the world of 'knowing' things I guess.
-------------------- Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not. --Jac O'keeffe

I can't know that I know nothing. Speaking of a conundrum.

I don't know how to approach the notion of life as a kind of riddle. This is one of the things I think too much about, but, it has merit, because the sun comes out when I improve my mood. Every time. It's obviously insane, but it's actually true as well.
Obviously, at least it is obvious to me, the world is the weirdest thing.
I recommend taking mushrooms until this strange sun-mood correlation happens to you as well.

First time I took L I realized that I and everyone else where blind. I felt so free in this revelation. Reality was limitless.

I have found that people who do not hold some intellectual scaffolding to their lives are as shallow, sensate and as materialistic as their income affords. A lack of an intellectual component does not result in them living a transcendental lifestyle. A sage who lives mindfully in the present, though he may be engaged in purely domestic duties, is quite possibly doing something with his mind that is far more fulfilling and transcendental than intellectualizing, speculating, questioning the meaning of life. But the average person doesn't live with greater awareness, with higher cognitive processes, but in a reduced condition of visceral living. This might prove healthy and needful to those who over-intellectualize like the philosopher Heidegger, who found it necessary to periodically live amongst non-literate peasants. He himself was probably too intellectual for his own good. It ill-effected his judgement when he sympathized with the Nazi party. His thinking function was off the scale and he was out of balance, as it the case of anyone who is so fixated on Thinking, or Feeling, Sensing or Intuiting. Extreme fixations on any one of these modes of apprehension cause major weirdnesses to develop.
