reishi jar not fruiting

I have a quart jar of rye berry reishi spawn--my other jars of spawn have gone into monotubs. I am trying to get the jar in question to fruit invitro. So far it is doing nothing. I first had it in a fruiting chamber and then, because it was doing nothing there, I took it out and put it on a window sill. I have been misting it but still nada. Here is a pic:
My question is: Has anyone had experience with this kind of dilemma? What to do?

That is suffering from too low of RH and the pinning/blobbing surface is dried out. I have never tried fruiting them on straight grains but I imagine that you would need to mist regularly or ensure really good.conditions to get them to pin off grain.
I would scratch that and improve conditions and pray for the best.

Yes, it is dry. I will try that, thanks

If you leave the top on it will pin automatically. Once it has pinned then you can move it to a fruiting chamber.

All on straight grain. It will even fruit, albeit poorly from liquid culture.

Thanks for the tip. I will replace the lid.
Your pics are priceless.
