Are going to hell!

What do you guys think of this type of rudeness? I see it in all directions. People of no religion disrespecting religious people. I see religious people disrespecting non religious people. Especially on social media. I'm not to sure why every one is so damn rude.
I'm not sure why a non religious person would in front of a religious person say things like "Fuck God, stupid shit is all fake, nothing in the bible is real", or why a religious person would say to a non believer "You are a dirty no good for nothing. You are going to burn in hell where you belong! If your gay your going to hell! If you murder you are going to burn in hell! If you do this or that your going to hell!" Blah blah blah.
The man who wrote the majority of the of the New Testament, the apostle Paul/ formally known as Saul, used to murder Christians and imprisoned them. Yet later on he says he wronged no man. He really believed in the new birth.
It's called lack of decency and sense. Regardless of belief or lack of belief its just rude. It's like as if you bought a new car that you are happy for and feeling accomplished about and I walk up and just call it a piece of shit to make you feel bad. It's just rude. Where the hell is the decency now days?

I feel people think they can be rude to one another just because of their beliefs or lack of beliefs. I do not see why that is socially acceptable but if you are rude about any thing else to some one its un acceptable and makes you undesirable to be around.

Think of it as a gift that you don't have to waste any time determining if you should hang around those people.

Ever been alone for an extended period of time? Now stretch that to infinity. That is hell.
No reference, just the expression is bothering me.
See everybody as human, even the person condemning you to hell. Forgive them, for they don't know what they've done.

I hear ya. But why do they feel its okay, just on that subject to be rude to some one? I just can't understand why they find that okay. Any conversations I have had with any one, its never been like that until their beliefs of God or a lack of God gets involved. I'm not talking about being on the subject of religion. I just mean if you are discussing something and that persons beliefs or lack of beliefs gets triggered for some only who knows what reason, they feel its okay to be rude and implement it. I feel its fine to share a belief with some one. I can tell people in a calm nice manner what I believe with out being rude.
For example lets say I'm talking to some one, I say : "They bowed and prayed to Muhammad", The other person would say something like "Fuck God and all that". I'm no Muslim but what makes it okay to be rude there. Just because they feel so strongly about their dis belief in religion or a God does not mean its okay to push it over on others.
The same goes for people who do believe. It's always back in forth like this.
This can be in a conversation and say "I support marijuana legalization". The other person would say "Their all druggies/ dope heads, sick people. They all go to hell".
I can also tell a person what I don't believe with out being rude. They don't have to walk up to people and say "Fuck God" or "Your going to hell". It's just bad taste.
There just does not seem to be any excuse for this.

Who cares about being rude? I am concerned with the truth, and I'm not going to validate something I believe to be rooted in dogma and people's propensity towards an unfounded sense of superiority.
When I attack religion, I am confronted with ridiculous semantic arguments, as well as people appealing to things like manners, but those are just evasive tactics employed by people who can't present facts.
When someone says "You can't disprove God's existence" like that backs up their argument, it makes them appear like they're idiots. Nobody can disprove that I can disprove a god either.
If this word, "God", that evokes such abandonment of reason is actually sacred, then perhaps I am a sinner because I believe that it is fucked up for a god to give us the ability of reason, but have our whole existence be wrapped up in the importance of ignoring rational thinking. If that is God, it's not something I feel compelled to worship, and I resent those that do on some level even if many are perfectly pleasant folks to live around.

"I'm not sure why a non religious person would in front of a religious person say things like "Fuck God, stupid shit is all fake, nothing in the bible is real", or why a religious person would say to a non believer "You are a dirty no good for nothing. You are going to burn in hell where you belong! If your gay your going to hell! If you murder you are going to burn in hell! If you do this or that your going to hell!" Blah blah blah."
It's funny because I only see these kinds of arguments occur between Atheists and Christians/Muslims. Which leads me to believe that many Nu Atheists don't have a problem with religion as much as they have a problem with the social rules people in certain religions attempt to inflict on others. I get it, but when I hear them say things like "religions are stupid." or "religious people are stupid" while ignoring the fact that many of our scientific discoveries pre-enlightment (and even post) came from devoutly RELIGIOUS people; whether Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, or Pagan it shows a severe lack of knowledge of science history as well as a desire to revise what does exist to fit their own dogma.
But I have had some great discussion with people within various faiths and have rarely ever encountered "hellfire" speech. I think many people who speak this way to others, particularly strangers, have other issues going on that go far beyond religion as it appears they tend be overcompensating for something else in their lives; whether perceived lack of accomplishments, "deviant" sexual natures, or insecurities bought on by being around people very different from themselves.
So I don't necessarily blame the religion they practice, I tend to blame the people using the religion as a mask for their own issues. There are plenty of beautifully religious and pious people who can discuss theology with a ecstasy worshiping Dionysian like myself and not even mention hell at all.

From a non religious point of view wouldn't God be all the energy of the universe across dimensional space (everything) and the absence of God be nothing? Since everything (atoms) need nothing to bounce around in they both rely on each other to maintain reality. So both perspectives would be correct.

It's always awesome to meet others who have been touched by Him in some way. I pledged myself to Dionysos over 10 years ago and while it hasn't always been easy I've had such amazing experiences in his service.
I'll respond to your other thread so I don't clutter up this one. LOL!

You know what guys, I have come to realize this is all just younger people shit.
Older people do not talk to other older people like this. I'm 25, so the range of people who still share their immaturity flourishes with in my range but I don't think older people act like that. At least none of the older people I have meant.
Then again I have heard/ am related to older people that argue the whole "Why does that ministry need that air plane!" and put people down about that, regardless of Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.". They disregard the fact that the minister can only go as far & as fast as his means of transportation will let him.
Idk man maybe I'm just over looking this. Maybe age group does not matter. I'm not sure.

People have a problem with this practice because it's often done by so called "prosperity" ministers who prey on the poor for their own financial gain. Sure Mark may have said "go ye into the world" but he certainly made it clear that this didn't mean "but do it on a Leer jet while wearing Brooks Brothers suits and riding around in a Rolls MAH NIGGA!"
These pulpit pimps spread a bastardized version of their faith that convinces people their deity works as some kind of cosmic cash machine that will pull them out of debt and poverty provided they make "seed offerings" to the church. Seed offerings that surge into the hundreds of thousands, or millions, depending on the size of their congregation.
I understand leading sheep to slaughter, but to do it in a religion that is supposed to protect the sheep and gather them into the loving warmth of their god's grace is despicable.

I feel ya.
I think there are legit preachers out there tho that should use the most updated/nicest airplane to travel such as the Cessna Citation X. I like to think if-within taking the understanding and accepting the idea that if a God can provide a Cessna Citation X to those that need it then maybe he can give em a nice suit. Or if he can provide a nice suit then he can provide a nice airplane. If Christians are the children of God what kind of parent doesn't want to give his or her children nice things?
If I ever have children I want them to have the best of the best.
Don't get me wrong, the preachers I speak of are not the ones you are speaking of within these ideas. I know there are many corrupt preachers out there. Many that just goof off all week and play golf then preach on sundays. I'm thinking of hardcore Christians that really are good hearted and believe what they preach.
A big problem also is with the media is if a preacher owns nice things or a good airplane they just assume they got it from the congregation. Its very possible a preach could have dabbled in other things such as lucrative business or other such investments and bought it him self with out money donated.

If the other person is not hostile or threatening but only disrespectful what makes you think think the Government will back you up?
