Or... Could it possibly be he is the one man who knows how Americans are getting screwed, and is willing to do something about it?

The thing is, in business, you have to do what you need to do to stay competitive, and trump knows that our shitty trade deals screws the American worker, but I wouldn't expect a progressive to understand any of that, because, you know, "you didn't build that" and all that  horseshit

I guess you didn't realize that the progressive who was running was against the shitty trade deals.  Another straw man from the man who makes everything up.

Not sure if you knew this or not but trump has never been elected to anything before, he's never been in the position to change Shitty trade deals. Hillary has, warren has, Bernie has,  NONE of them have done anything about them

Trump isn't in the manufacturing industry, he's in real estate.  Guess what happens when a competitor off sources?  Everyone has to do the same to stay competitive, why is that concept so difficult to understand?

Haha yeah and republican's hold both houses and ain't done shit "with those shitty trade deals"
It's funny to me that you think you need a new president when your party already has the power to change what you feel is wrong.

They can bring up a bill, can't they? Isn't that how three branches of government work?

I find it utterly amusing that that your party can only do something 'after the fact' is your party useless or are they pretending to be useless? I can't figure it out?

Both parties are bought and paid for, therefore they're completely useless, where have you been the last 30 years?

Almost every republican up there should be voted out, they've constantly voted to give Obama everything he wants, it's BS, they should be voting to impeach his ass!

And that's what has given us Trump, he's the anti establishment party candidate, btw, most republicans in the house and senate hate Trump, they are even hatching plans to steal the nomination from him.

So yea, I agree with you, most in the GOP right now are fucking useless

He continues because stopping would be insignificant in the grand scheme of things. He wants to make EVERYONE stop so no one is at a disadvantage and the American worker is put first.

Actually, Bernie is one of the only people in our government who has tried to do anything about the trade deals. Your Republican officials (the people you vote for) are all ardent supporters of shitty trade deals, not excluding the TPP.

This is very true, in fact during the early 90's when NAFTA was being debated, many Democratic politicians were against it, Clinton was on the Republican side of the issue.

The funny thing today is Democrats have all of a sudden become these huge "free" trade advocates despite the proven failure (for US workers) of these agreements. This is what happens when corporate money dictates policy.

Democrats bash Trump for supporting the very ideas they promoted just 25 years ago.

:lolsy: What a despicable cop-out... If the "president" can't be a good example of behavior why the fuck should anyone else be? Should we be chill with clinton being a corrupt bitch until everyone stops being a corrupt bitch? If he gave a single shit about the 'american worker' he'd bite the bullet and take the 10% cut in profit. There are many successful businesses in America that put workers in this country before foreigners, why can't the great D. Trump figure out how to do it? My guess is he's too fucking greedy to give a shit.

That's because most progressives are too partisan to see past party affiliation,

It's funny the republicans who hate trump hate him because he's too liberal, and the dems who hate him hate him becuase he's too conservative. He is the middle of the road guy, anyone not blind by ideology should be able to see that
