I'm not saying they're friends, but Hillary would be in far worse shape if he hadn't given her a public reprieve of her email crimes at the first debate. If he could do it all over again after learning first hand how dirty Hillary is, I don't think he would have made that email comment.

I have to agree... That was a serious fuck up. I just wish he hadn't said anything at all. I don't think he realized how low she would go to win either.

And she hasn't stopped digging. This election is going to be a horror show.

Hopefully  Little Dick and Ms. Management are both indicted with summer.

Hillary, MSNBC goes out of it's way to show most of Little Dick's rants. All Trump all the time.

He has been smoking Democrats and Republicans for years in his home state, and probably has the highest favorability rating of any senator in office. When he was mayor he took phonecalls from his constituents any time, day or night. He actually gives a fuck. No other candidate does. He has been right about virtually every issue for decades, and against all odds,  he is giving Clinton a run for her money.

Your depiction of him really isn't a reflection of reality. Maybe I should have said that he didn't realize the media, the public, and the party would be so complacent, and allow Clinton to get away with so much, or assist her in doing so.

Anyone, left... right... middle... who wasn't aware or expecting Hillary to act with extreme sleaziness, isn't all there.

Your phraseology aside, he'd have to be one of the very few who are even remotely aware of Hillary that didn't know from the start she'd be a sleaze. The same can be said of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

Clinton's a sleaze. The DNC is sleazy. Wasserman-Schultz is a sleaze. The deck was stacked from the start. Anyone who didn't expect the sleazery that the campaign would become isn't a bright enough bulb to be President.

All that aside from the stupidity of some of his positions.

It isn't necessarily that he didn't expect them not to play fair, I mean he experienced heavy media blackout from the very beginning.. I think it's just that he felt morally inclined to not fight on their level. And despite all of the deck being stacked against him he still has put up a pretty epic fight considering the circumstances...

If more independents had been able to figure out how to vote in the democratic primaries... or just simply gotten off their asses to do so, I think he would've cruised right on through them... It's not as if the information wasn't there either which I find frustrating. Yes it's unintuitive to many voting/registering for primaries but shit his support amongst the largest block of voters (independents) far surpasses trumps or clintons... it is ultimately the fault of the people who would've voted for him in the general election but bypassed voting in the primaries that he hasn't won the nomination outright.

But this shit ain't over yet. There's a lot that can happen still.

Good points, I suppose. Aside from the fact that Bernie's platform is the only one that isn't stupid. I don't think Bernie is the brightest guy in the world (nor is he stupid). I think that he is a good guy, and that is a true gem in the world of politics. Maybe he was somewhat naïve in underestimating the lengths Clinton and the DNC would go. What he didn't underestimate (which everyone else, including myself did) was the power of his message, and the ground he could cover with his campaign style.

You have to admit, what he has done here is astounding. Nobody can argue with that. You may not like him, or his platform, but you have to give credit to the grumpy 74 year old man with relatively zero charisma, who raised more money than Clinton, and went from no name recognition to over 45% of pledged delegates, and pulled the largest crowds in primary history, all despite a possibly worse media blackout than Ron Paul had. O'Malley and the other two shmucks didn't even bring home 1% of the vote! lol

According to primary polling he would be the best bet for the general election at this point.

It's called living off-grid, bruh. Unfortunately you still can't get away without paying property tax. I think property tax is horse shit, btw. You shouldn't have to continually pay taxes on something you own outright, just for owning it. It doesn't make any god damn sense to me.

Aside from the fact that polls at this point are relatively useless, once Trump started hammering on 'socialism' with vids and images from Venezuela... Bernie would have been toast in the General.

But in order to be hammered in the General, he'd have to win the primaries... which was never going to happen.

I don't have problems with taxes. It's just that the range and amounts of the taxes these days is outrageous. Where they g is even worse.
