Really, what's happening is that the left is scared to death of Trump.  They realize Obama's 'Get of out jail free' days are coming to an end. (NOT MINE< QUOTED FROM SOMEONE ELSE)

lAST NIGHTS shutting down of Trumps appearance was appalling. Then afterwards, the protesters where going after the police.

Is this the way politics is run?  If you disagree with the other side, you prevent them from presenting their viewpoint?

It seems the be the liberal method of dealing with viewpoints they disagree with, stop them from speaking!

I think many learned this warped line of reasoning on college campuses, but Trump and his supporters aren't going to stop, it only makes the movement even stronger.

I thought you were a very intelligent poster. I am questioning your rationality on this one.

When a figurehead (which is what a political candidate is aiming to be, let's not get lofty here) calls for violence against dissenters, that is silencing free speech or at the very least using heavy handed tactics and intimidation to try it. He has also on multiple occasions called for the eradication of free speech and immoral acts. For example, calling for stronger libel laws (with the purpose of silencing those who speak against him), vaguely threatening the military who would refuse to follow his orders when he calls for the murder of women and children associated with terrorists, etc.

It comes down to the fact that the President is a figurehead who is supposed to lead people and conduct expectations for behaviors of the country. Ergo, presidential candidates are not immune to being held to the same standards.

If you have some specific examples of Trump  calling for the "eradication of free speech", I'm all ears.

BTW, I think Trump is going to tone it down big time in the coming weeks and months.

...  Calling for the eradication of free speech? You need him to say it? You can't infer the obvious? I don't need Hillary to say she's a lying cunt... I can see it plain as day.

“We’re losing a lot of people because of the internet,” Trump said. “We have to see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what’s happening. We have to talk to them about, maybe in certain areas, closing that internet up in some ways. Somebody will say, ‘Oh freedom of speech, freedom of speech.’ These are foolish people.”…

There's a better source.

There you go qman. He literally fucking said what I could infer without having to even see him say it directly. You people keep defending this fucking jerkoff, forcing up your blinders. I bet Trump was right when he said he could murder someone and his supporters would still back him.

Remember Trump immediately sided with the FBI in the Apple/FBI case and called for a boycott of Apple products.  He said he would "force" them to cooperate.  Shows his respect for rights, which is none.  Just another data point showing his authoritarian nature.

Crimes against humanity, no problem.  Trump in the last debate refused to give up on the idea of killing "terrorists" families, even when he is told this violates international law.

I know. This rhetoric is not good for America on the world stage, regardless of whether or not he can, or will do these things.

Trump protesters appear to be very similar to the BLM retards, most Americans have lost patience with these fools.

Most Americans have lost patience with Trump's fools, foolish.

You have a direct quote of him belittling free speech rights, and you still glorify your master.

Did Trump actually encourage people to salute him like a Nazi? I've heard various different stories on how that started.

Oh.. not that I'm aware of, I dont know.  I dont think these people need encouragement.

I think what youre referring to is getting people to pledge to vote for him by putting up their right hand. I havent seen much about it so I dont know if they were sieg heiling.

apparently a trump supporter was shouting sieg heil at a black protester when he was being removed.

I know he has a lot of neo-nazi support. They show up in large groups at his rallies.

but trump supporters are hardly going to be peaceful protesters. And Bernie supporters are hardly going to be thugs..

Shit, let those rednecks come up to E. Washington. I know they will be violent, it's their nature.

Trump is accusing Bernie's campaign of initiating the clash in Chicago, which is something Bernie would never do. This is just getting stupid, and I foresee real violence coming.

This could have been a shining moment for Trump. A moment where he acted like an adult, instead of the bully on the playground. He should be doing everything he can to prevent a violent outbreak.

When the dust settles, after this freakshow is over, the Republican party will be a shell of itself. It is disintegrating before our eyes. Watch.

absolutely, hes acting like a 10 year old bully. that kind of rhetoric only speaks to thugs, everyone else can hopefully see it for what it is.
