But now we has two candidates that has made the right decisions in their life that has shown that they weren't stupid at all because they were able to maintain businesses.

The Backstory on Donald Trump's Four Bankruptcies  http://www.thestreet.com/story/13286068/1/the-backstory-on-donald-trump-s-four-bankruptcies.html

Trump doesn’t deny that four of his businesses have filed for bankruptcy. He argues, however, that filing for bankruptcy is a common business decision, and he was smart to make the moves when he did.

"Hundreds of companies" have filed for bankruptcy, Trump said earlier in the debate. "I used the law four times and made a tremendous thing. I'm in business. I did a very good job."

Trump’s four bankruptcies were Chapter 11 reorganizations (named for its location in federal bankruptcy code), which are designed to restructure businesses without shutting them down completely. The purpose is to "save" the business, as opposed to other forms of bankruptcy which would liquidate the company, said Michael Venditto, a partner at the Reed Smith law firm who has extensive experience with Chapter 11.  http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/sep/21/carly-fiorina/trumps-four-bankruptcies/ ;

Elon Musk never put a business of his in a chapter anything. Neither did Bill Gates.

People in real estate file for bankruptcy all the time, real estate is a leveraged investment, with leverage comes higher risks.

Your candidate is inspiring hate and violence all over the country, qman. He has had more failed businesses than successful ones. Watch the John Oliver clip. This isn't funny anymore. It is dangerous. I can't believe you're still going to stick up for this incredibly divisive character. He is inspiring violence by saying things like 'they should be taken out on a stretcher!' at his rallies. I am utterly appalled.

But who's inciting the violence?  The protesters!!

If I attend a BLM rally and start disrupting the speakers by screaming and inciting the supporters, what do you think is going to happen to me?  Haven't I kind of sealed my own fate?

Failed businesses in real estate are very common, again they are leveraged investments. A failed business doesn't mean the owner is bankrupt, it's a cost of doing business.

When a politician says 'I'd like to punch him in the face' or 'He should be taken out in a stretcher', he is inciting violence.

Politicians inspire people to action, especially someone with the kind of belligerent support Trump has. I didn't say he committed the violence. I said he's inciting violence. He's creating an atmosphere in which violence arises. I didn't say he should be charged. He just shouldn't be supported.

Well that's the point, also the protesters went to the rally to incite others, let's not forget who is starting the altercations.

Really, what's happening is that the left is scared to death of Trump.  They realize Obama's 'Get of out jail free' days are coming to an end. (NOT MINE< QUOTED FROM SOMEONE ELSE)

lAST NIGHTS shutting down of Trumps appearance was appalling. Then afterwards, the protesters where going after the police.

Is this the way politics is run?  If you disagree with the other side, you prevent them from presenting their viewpoint?

Trump is starting the altercations, when he says 'they should be taken out in a stretcher'. He has cultivated this atmosphere. Sure, a person should be removed if they are not wanted at a private event, but not on a stretcher. You don't put someone on a stretcher because you disagree with them, or more importantly, because they disagree with you. A politician that can't handle dissent with a the slightest bit of grace shouldn't be president. A politician who vows to commit war crimes shouldn't be president. 'We will kill the families (innocent civilians) of terrorists'. 'We will commit torture, and go further than waterboarding, regardless of whether it works or not'. The right wing is already incredibly fringe, the last thing we need is for them to become violent too.

It seems the be the liberal method of dealing with viewpoints they disagree with, stop them from speaking!

I think many learned this warped line of reasoning on college campuses, but Trump and his supporters aren't going to stop, it only makes the movement even stronger.

Are you serious!?! The guy who is removing people from his rallies for disagreeing with him, saying they should be taken out on a stretcher, is the one silencing other people's opinions! The Trump people are silencing dissenting voices. Punching people in the face at rallies.

Bernie never did that! He lets people speak!

Also, stop demonizing education.

Political rallies are not debate forums, the protesters are there to DISRUPT and nothing more, but violence isn't the answer either.

It's not about silencing dissenting voices, a political rally is about listening to the speaker at the podium.

"Bernie never did that"

Yes we know, he almost suffered a heart attack when he let of bunch of thugs take over his rally, disgraceful.

That's not disgraceful, saying they should be taken out on a stretcher is disgraceful. Saying  you want to punch them in the face, like a child on a playground is disgraceful. If you want to talk about 'silencing dissent', Trump does it every time he speaks, Bernie has never done that. In fact, Bernie always says, 'In my view, and you may disagree, ...'

The whole world sees Donald Trump as a disgrace. The whole fucking world. He is bringing shame on our country.

I thought you were a very intelligent poster. I am questioning your rationality on this one.

When a figurehead (which is what a political candidate is aiming to be, let's not get lofty here) calls for violence against dissenters, that is silencing free speech or at the very least using heavy handed tactics and intimidation to try it. He has also on multiple occasions called for the eradication of free speech and immoral acts. For example, calling for stronger libel laws (with the purpose of silencing those who speak against him), vaguely threatening the military who would refuse to follow his orders when he calls for the murder of women and children associated with terrorists, etc.

It comes down to the fact that the President is a figurehead who is supposed to lead people and conduct expectations for behaviors of the country. Ergo, presidential candidates are not immune to being held to the same standards.
