Help Identify Wild Souther Cali Mushrooms right outside
    #22196428 - 09/06/15 09:54 AM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Hello everyone I am in kind of a rush so I can't write down all the aspects of these various fungi, as in stems, spore prints, the various charts, excetera...
Off the top of your head can you help me identify these mushrooms they were picked this morning right outside and there were several different species... I would like to know to which ones are edible which ones are toxic and if any which ones are active ( though i'm told the active ones don't come for a few more months in the winter, so my hopes arent up)  however I would like to make a tasty dinner in saute some of the edible ones. The very thick white tough fungus I picked growing on the side of loose bark in what appeared to be a dying tree, looks like hen of the woods or reshei (theres a there's a hard crimson interior and a white meaty exterior... thats just one of the five or six species.

You have http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/species/Parasola_lactea.html

And https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorophyllum_molybdites (the last photo)

And some other stuff that I can't identify.  Hopefully someone smarter than me will see your thread.
