So nice to seee that is a healthy patch you grew!!! I'd also like to know what kind of woodchips you used. I have some ovoid mycelium in a mixture of everything, mostly leafy wood not so much pine and it's jammin. would love to find out what ovoids favorite is.. I'm sure though a mix is a good balance. Thanks

Beautiful, ovoids are my favorite. I look forward to finding them every year. They can be very potent, had a level three off 14g fresh my first time and fell in love, they are more visual and the come up is more intense but in a good way IMO. I have been wanting to do an outdoor bed myself, and seeing this gets me pumped. I put some spores from spring on some agar on the 27th, checked it today and saw some growth

fuckin A. u r my hero man, those are beautiful in a way only ovoids can be
i've only gotten them from wild patches. was not blown away by potency, seemed like cubes (trip was smoother, easier on the body, but in terms of intensity, it didn't seem really strong, although i liked it more), wondering what your take on potency is with those guys, and if u think there is difference btw wild and cultivated, like you have there.

I haven't eaten any ovoids yet, I get a feeling they are strong but I am quite sensitive to the actives. Did you try them fresh or dry? I am thinking ill try some fresh ones in a couple days when they are more ready. we don't have these in the wild here so cant really say what differences there would be. Smoother experience sounds what I am after

The biggest cap pictured in the latest cluster is actually close to 5" in diameter, and still hasn't opened up fully.
My last flush didn't fully flatted out their caps either but were producing spores.
They look like they are wearing little pointy wizard hats to me, do ovoids usually do this or am I being impatient and should they open up more?

i've eaten them fresh and dry. seemed similar, except fresh came on much faster. that is a large cap size!! not sure on wizard hat (i've noticed cubes do this too occasionally), the ones i pick look like this

if u want prints, maybe wait. check out "psylymonreturns" and i think he has an indoor grow where he talks about caps and printing.

Nice BL! I love how much they vary these were a white-ish color and bruised black along the edges and I liked the design on these I haven't ever seen any like those Awakening, I love the looks of those "witches hats"
