Mycelium Question
    #22193138 - 09/05/15 03:13 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Greetings, mycologists, cultivators and others.

The question that I was hoping some of you could answer was:
once there is complete colonisation of the substrate (whatever it may be) can other microorganism (contaminants) contaminate the mycelium?

I'd really appreciate it, if anyone shared their knowledge.

Ime no. Not until after some flushes. This is only if they colonized cleanly though.

There are hidden contams

There's also bacteria (more bacteria) which can hinder full colonization, as well as make it MUCH more susceptible to contams.

Agreed with Mad.

Generally, if your sub is clean and fully colonized it is very contamination resistant.
