Conocybe smithii??

Found a few of these little guys on the edge of horse manure in 8 inch tall grass. Southern Michigan. 3 days after rain The spore print is a light brown with a yellow tint. I didn't notice much nursing at the time but I'll go double check.
I've been doing a bit of research and I think that they could be Conocybe smithii. I
Anyone got an opinion?

Yeah looks blue / purple here too, monitor is fine, tried both my gpu and the built in, still the same on both hdmi and vga.

i feel pretty confident on conocybe apala.
no matter how hard i try i dont see any discoloration like what you guys are talking about.

look for pans op! tis the season, and no possible toxic look-alikes
you're better off until more 'research' is under your belt but keep at it and keep posting. good on you to have asked about this one - sounds like you were close to convincing yourself of something not there.
