Just wondering how everybody's dagga was doing. Mine really shot up in the last month or so. Not sure how many growers we got in the EG but post some dagga pics if you got em.

I'll have to get some pics of mine to upload soon. I'm on the way out the door ATM so I will have to wait till tomorrow, but mine have also really started getting big as well. Probably 7 or 8 feet tall. Only just recently started flowering for me though. I got a bit of a late start with them. Flowers should be opening soon enough.

I always wanted to grow some but was always afraid to Invest money into it because I just don't know a lot about em what are the best growing conditions. Do u think they would do well in south Florida. Also have u tried using it I've heard it's a strong herbal sedative or something like that.

They should do well in Fla, I think. They are from Africa originally, so I imagine they are used to being hot and dry at times. They are cheap seeds, easy to sprout, and simple to care for. They should definitely be planted in ground though, as they get quite large. They grow up rather than out, so you don't have to worry about spacing them too far apart.

I agree with everything he said above ^ you can fit 4 or 5 per sq ft no problem. They do like water though. Can lots all at once then really dry.

I agree, mine get plenty of water. They are on the same watering schedule as their tomato neighbors. I guess I didn't specify it well, but I was just pointing out that I believe they could tolerate being a little dry...

Florida would probably be awesome just due to the sun. I live in nh so my season is coming to an end shortly, with a long enough grow season I bet these things could get to be like 12-13 feet tall. Mine just hit 7 feet and are flowering vigorously so who knows what'll happen.
