Bulk Grow Very Few Pins, Need Help!!! [pics]

First i would like to say thanks to those who help/attempt to help me out with this, i am on day 8 of fruiting conditions. I have very few side pins and no pins in the middle at all i was misting 3-5 times a day but it started to cause bruising so i stepped down to 2. I now plan to not mist again at all until i see more pins because as far as i know evaporation is key and dry mycelium is better than wet myce as long as its not too dry. I now fan 8-15 times a day. I literally just placed wax paper on top of my tray in a desperate attempt to cause pins, should i continue to keep the wax paper, should i remove it and just fan?

That is dry as fuck and is probably why you're not getting pins. If evaporation is key, like you've said, then you have to have moisture to evaporate. Mist more, not less. Fanning a dry substrate all day is just killing it faster.
It also may be contaminated, so brace yourself for that.

we only fan right after a misting to kickstart evaporation, your fruiting chamber should take care of the rest.. it is why we balance them to allow maximum FAE allowable without drying out our substrate. What type of fruiting chamber do you have that tray in?

Not to pile on here (I agree with what everyone has said so far) but it looks as if your sub was put into fruiting conditions WAY too early. That substrate is (was) nowhere near 100% colonized.

The substrate looks really short. Like 1 1/2 inches. How deep was it?

That substrate looks dry as fuck bro, as well as looking a bit bacterial. You should've left it to colonize more before putting it into fruiting. Only time will tell, just keep misting it. Hopefully you'll get a decent flush!

As others have said, it doesn't look fully colonized and it appears to be a bit dry. If you allow that mycelium to run for longer before fruiting it (even a bit longer than when it appears to be done) then it establishes a thicker web which will show in your fruits. Instead of smaller, less dense mushrooms, you'll end up with thicker, more substantial ones. Also, it doesn't look like you cases those trays. Some people don't, I guess, but I don't think the benefits of casing can't be understated. It acts as a buffer to hold in more moisture and reduces contams because your casing material is an inert, nutrient-free material that blocks the food from competitors. Even using 100% vermiculite soaked with filtered water can make the difference between a meager flush and a monster one, plus it's simple to just pull it out of the bag, soak and apply (with clean hands, of course). Also, too much air disturbance, aside from drying your cakes, can cause the caps to open before the mushroom has grown as large as it can be because it wants to take that opportunity when it's windy to drop those spores and let them fly. In my opinion, roll with what you've got, don't fan it so much unless you see signs of high CO2, take what you can get off these trays and do it over again better next time. Don't be discouraged-- one of the tough parts about this hobby is learning from mistakes one doesn't know they've made, but I think yours in this case are pretty straightforward. Good luck!

       Dry
Did you case this? If not, it never fully colonized.
What is your fruiting chamber setup?
I've used a lot of foil pans with shotgun lids. They do dry out easily, especially with some air movement and some heat. This means you need to mist them HARD. Any time a casing changes color, it's a bad sign and means you need to mist more.
Assuming you did case that, I'd be tempted to dunk it and flip it over. The overlay looks pretty bad on the top, I'd be surprised if you ever got a good pinset out of that side.
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

this was a very strong strain of cubes, i checked recently and although its not 100% colonized, its still pinning.
