One thing that helps a LOT with the nausea is if you take lemon essential oil before consuming the cactus. Also cannabis either smoked or a tiny bit of edible.

That's pretty much exactly what I do these days. The straight meltwater by itself without reducing can be surprisingly strong and not nearly as bad tasting as a cooked and reduced tea. Meltwater has come to be my preferred cactus product.

Question: If you were to freeze thaw your cati several times and wring the fucker out and only collect the rusting juice what percentage (estimate) of the good stuff would you leave behind with the solid waste? Is it much, or do you pretty much get most of it out in the squeezed out juice?

Prolly around 50 percent on the first wring and then I just boil.
What I do specifically is I wring them out and them chop em up boil it(with a splash of vinager) for like an hour on a very hot setting (keeping it watery all the way by adding more water) and then I'll freeze the whole pot with the cacti and water for another 24 hours then thaw it and wring it in a t shirt again

This is what I do
I imagine that second boil freeze and wring gets like 90 percent of it all.
