Oh and funny thing about getting the script. He asked me questions like whether I have been to jail, have used any drugs or whatever. I said no and no and my file history is jam packed with abuse history too. I think these psychiatrists don't look at your history cause if he did he would not give me anything.
I wondered this, if my Rehab history would show up.

Having a history of drug abuse does not prevent you from getting prescriptions for legitimate medical conditions.
I know. I wasn't saying that his meth addiction should've prevented him from getting one. I was kinda asking what he said to the doctor to get them to prescribe it. Was it just like, "Hey I really have trouble focusing and I get really tired during the day?"
Here is what you do to get any script.
1. dress nice and look like a pussy who would never do anything bad. Have you hair combed, look like a straight edge square and you probably get it. 2. Don't do a laundry list of symptoms. Say specific situations. For example, "I start an assignment and finish one line of an essay then get distracted by X y and Z. Or: when I am reading a story I have to reread the paragraph three times and even then I do not understand what I read. 3. Never ask for anything, always play dumb. 4. Then bam. If it doesn't work first time and you really do need the medication just try another doctor.

It went from a "how to stay sober" thread, to a "how to get prescription drugs from your doctor" thread.
In the matter of a few posts none the less.

This.
In my area it is just the old people that smoke crack. The young ins are all into the meth.

That was what it was like in my area, even the people who could afford to smoke crack would just smoke meth instead.
And of course, when you are too gacked out, you gotta get some Heroin to help the come down.
Drugs, go figure.

same here, it's all crack, coke, ecstacy/molly, and heroin on the east coast (at least where I am). Coke is just meh and from the sounds of it (and my experience with other amphetamines) meth really does sound like a superior drug. The majority of both coke and meth comes up from mexico, I wonder why meth hasn't become popular over here.

I decided one day a couple years ago I wanted a prescription to Addys.
I called a pyschiatrists office 10 minutes up the road.
I said I had difficulty concentrating, but I did use a real-life example to support my claim such as working and taking a full load of classes. I basically said I was really stressed out with school, had very important classes, but was unable to concentrate on the tasks. I was distracted easily and was getting behind in school, and I am looking for something to help.
It was a big scam and they wrote me for 30 addy's I believe, of the extended release 20mg. Next time I was back I told the doctor that 1 a day wasn't enough. I needed one in the early morning and 1 in the early afternoon, lol. Sure enough, 60 tabs, but I had him switch me to the instant release.
Had some fun times, always took them while drinking, maybe 3 to 4 over the course of several hours. Did this 2-4 times a week. But eventually the cons far outweighed the pros.
I was unable to sleep. Even if I stopped taking addy's for a couple days. I would literally lay in bed awake for the entire night.
It was pretty dire so I went to a different doctor and started getting xanax. I had to pop 1mg of xanax or else I could not fall asleep. Took those every day for a month and finally got off both medicines.

I went in for some Xanax once and got this really sweet and kind old man doctor. I told him all sorts of shit and was obviously very convincing because he genuinely seemed worried about me and sat and talked about shit and then wrote me a pretty decent script for em. I mean, it worked, but I left feeling pretty scummy about myself (this was 2005 when I was new in Green Bay and didn't have any sort of drug connection what so ever... And my gf was reliant and making my life hell, so two birds with one stone sort of thing. )

I used to chain smoke tobacco. 21 years of addiction.
I quit. I have continuous access, I just quit.
I used to chain smoke cannabis. 12 years of weed all day every day.
I quit. I have some in my house always, I just QUIT.
The key to quitting a drug is NOT WANTING IT ANYMORE AND BEING CONSISTENT IN THAT.
Flip the switch.
