Brown spots.....Thoughts?

Hello all, A friend of mine is trying to find out what is going on with this project. After a lot of research he has narrowed the ideas to a few possibilities. He of course, would like your help and expertise. The photos are hard to determine the brownish tint of the white specs you see everywhere, but there is a brownish tint to them. Any help would be appreciated.

That is what he was hoping it was. However, they seem to be brownish in color and that is what has us worried. If they are turning brownish, would that indicate a metabolite issue or just normal?

Well the brown youre starting to see is gonna be the mushy caps once they fruit. Metabolites are more of a yellow liquid (like puss). Metabolites are never the issue, metabolites are commonly caused by bacteria, or unwanted stress to the mycelium, which would be the issue. But all looks good here.

When he pulls the picture up on the phone the brownish areas come up vividly. Not so much on the computer. Usually the brown cap starts when a pin is forming, however being new to casing, what does he know.... Also, thank you guys for replying!

Maybe have your friend should come here and ask us. All this third person stuff really makes us nervous. How do we know that your friend isn't a cop? Or how do we know that you aren't a cop since you will not admit to growing them. Only a cop acts this way. You will not get no answer out of me. I don't know anything

I think this is the dumbest thing I have ever read. So asking questions for a friend is what cops do? I could think of a lot of reasons why a person may ask for a friend, or conjure up an excuse not to incriminate himself. Some people in this world must keep a low profile, not everyone is a young person with nothing to lose. The fact you made that statement baffles me......

When I first came to the forums, every one and their mom was using the phrases like a foaf, swim, and so on. Its just pointless, if you're here on the forums reading and posting for a friend, you're an accessory to manufacturing a controlled substance, why would you want to incriminate yourself if you're not the one doing it? There's no reason trying to stay under the radar while on the forums. Your here, we know what you do.

My bad. It seems that we have finally found the first person that is truly along for a friend. I apologize.

This is todays progress. New pic with shadowing shows the brown discoloring a bit better. Not sure what it means though.

Ahh I can see the brown in which you speak of. Is that area near one of your FAE holes?
