Damn they either are legit or just real close look alikes. I really couldn't tell you for sure but they look promising. If there was blue bruising I would say "yup those are legit". But there isn't as far as I can tell. Don't eat them until a TI(trusted identifier) comes in.
Hopefully a better identifier will come by soon. Lol

I really was not suspecting them of being active, they just seem fairly rare as I have only seem them a few times, so their identification interests me.
I never eat any of the fungi I find, it's for pure entertainment, like a hobby to seek out and learn all my surrounding plants and fungi.

This looks like a Stropharia to me. Maybe S. coronilla?

Could be mistaken for ps. cyans, but their stipe is more fibrous thin, and bluing. Also Ps. Cyanescans will not have annulus.

I'm fairly confident that they are Stropharia coronilla.
These are the actives for my state: Colorado Pholiotina cyanopus Pluteus brunneidiscus Gymnopilus junonius Panaeolus cinctulus Panaeolus olivaceus Pluteus americanus
And the ones I have resemble none of these...
however they do look very very much like Stropharia coronilla, which is known in Colorado. I'm fairly certain that's what they are.
