Check it out.. 15lb bag. 5lb 50/50 bulk sub from outgrow meets 10lb colonized popcorn.
Grain to bulk took place 7 days ago exactly. Fully colonized on the outside by 5 days, hyphal knots formed on day 6 invitro. Plenty of healthy rhizomes

I do those kinda bags once in a while, just cut off the top like he did and throw into a FC. You can also give it a nice casing and open air fruit it!

These are just half of that monster of a bag you got going though, so interested in seeing your yields.. keeps us updated

Indeed, this is how I always do it bc I completely sterilize all my substrate instead of pasturizing the bulk subs.I usually do 5-8lb bags like the one(s) you just posted. But I'm having some fun with a few lc jars I wanna empty real fast so I can reuse the jars for my isolates lc. I'm curious to see what the depth and mass of this larger bag will do to the shape/size of the mushies!
Skipped the casing layer this time, usually I pour it in the top before sealing the freshly mixed bag, but this time all that grain topped the bag more than expected so I opted out no too concerned this should kick out plenty to keep me happy one way or another!

How long do you pressure cook your sub when you have that much in a bag?
