All the wood loving psilocybes to my knowledge only fruit in the fall when temperatures drop from summer, rain hits all the way until the first freeze they stop producing. Can't say for sure but there's probably few psilocybes growing in the winter and rest of the year, the most abundance of them is in the fall

Ovoids are in the PNW now and their heaviest fruiting is in the spring.

Found my first cyans today. Was walking back to my car and, again, right there on my right. Smelled the habitat ripe for them, smelled mushrooms, scoped things out and boom. Couldn't go more than 30 seconds without a jogger or cyclist. Hopefully have pics in the morning. And thank you guys for the info btw.
Still trying to figure out if I should be careful with the smaller azzies as far as potency. Made a thread in advanced cultivation but it seems people don't frequent it.
When a friend grew cubes he'd give me aborts and those would kick my ass at 2g. An eighth of small cubes spun me right round.
Does the same go for azzies and cyans? Ive only tried low doses of azzies.. and again sorry for the questions in this thread but you guys are the most knowledgeable.
Happy hunting and I hope you all come home safe, dry and unscathed as always.

I found a couple of new patches this weekend. Another patch I've been watching all season is pinning like crazy.
I don't have the energy to pick any more. I've moved on to catch-and-release mushroom hunting.
Here are some I found tonight by flashlight. It is getting pretty cold out there though. Kinda frosty.

It would have been a pretty scary bird, with a claw spread wider across than my foot. I'm thinking beach yeti.

Wrong color for pelly. Unless they were damaged bad by weather. They can grow in ice so I don't think so.

A semi-rain free day and a hunting we will go! Found my first cyan patch of the year! Woo woo! Got about 5 dozen matures and left tons of babies.

Rinsed the matures in a big mixing bowl of RO water. Look how purple it is! Filled a water bottle 3 times and happily went about spreading the spores

We're talking lots of spores. Do as much as you can is all. Perks Spore bottle may be weak or strong. Doesn't matter as long as it's squirt'n.

Just happy to help them along, seeing as how I plucked them up. Accidentally grabbed a few stems (as seen in a couple of the pics with the bowl) so I buried them in similar habitat nearby.
