I'm so jelly of your nice bonsai pots, so I was pleased at these pics 'cuz I have that same little pot, had it for years. But mine is full of random junk.

You should make a few of those for Christmas presents.

Boom! Pulled a hat trick for 3 out of 3!
Went to my old spot and someone found them. No surprise, you can't miss them. Dug out some old ones in the back, few smaller ones that would've been stepped on.
Then I see this little pin growing near gravel and I think, what the heck.. you don't belong there little guy.. I look up and I'm at the bottom of a hill. Water flows downhill, and spores must too!
This patch is riddled with pins, I hope they pop tomorrow, but it just goes to show one minute detail can lead you the right way. As I walk up the hill, I can't help but literally be standing in the middle of the patch.
Hello little pin. I've loaded BB guns with things bigger than yooze.

Look where you led me! To think I almost walked right by you

This is such a gorgeous shot.

Dropped my folded up foil somewhere at the house.

The haul for today, here's hoping what I left will be huge tomorrow!

Just a tip: You may want to get alittle more of that excess water off before printing. Could end up with soggie paper and print and it will be tough to work with. also makes it much easier handling said prints if you pre cut your paper beforehand. less hassle than cuting the prints out of full sheet. Just a sugestion. nothing more nothing else. Thanks for all the coast updates.

They take a lil more than a day to grow, like a week to two. But nice finds! Keep us updated!

Thanks guys. Being the only guy out in a [bad weather issue] and foraging around got me paranoid. Wonder how many I missed, probably a lot.
The babies I picked were on a footpath, usually I leave them for someone else, but like I saw last week they'd just get stomped. They'll be here next week in some fashion.
I tried counting the pins until I realized there were more than I could see or count, and no sense disturbing the area. Let them do their thing.
And all it took was spying a little pin out of the corner of my eye to lead me up that area! I was heartbroken (yet happy!) that someone found my other spot, and lo and behold! A better one with no digging!
Much love this weekend everybody. May you find yourselves safe, sound, warm and dry; all hunters deserve to come home unscathed.
P.s. Whoever said coastal storm hunting was a lot easier wasn't kidding.

I stumbled across this mini patch in Kitsap County earlier today. This is actually the second time this week that someone ask me if I was planning on smoking the mushrooms I found....So whats up with this guys, can people smoke fungi for medicinal/recreational purposes, or are the people just super retarded?

For some Friday the 13th is a unlucky day...

Not for me!
Found hundreds of patches of stunzii like these today! The local top soil company mulched about a half mile down there property front. The whole thing from end to end is covered!
Just wish there wasn't so much traffic all the time. got few pounds wet today, going back with hi vis vest and a bucket!

Yessir, that's how it's done. It's amazing what people won't question if you wear the right costume.

Nice. Driving home this evening I pulled over on a whim to check an area of woodchips right near a busy intersection. There were dense clusters of Stuntzii everywhere. Some rather large and healthy ones, too. I snatched just one for a photo and ID, but I will have to go back for some habitat shots.

Beautiful pics, I don't know of anyone that smokes these. But I've had people want to try and make concentrates of it like bho, didnt end up doing it though. I doubt it would have worked

This reminds me. A week or two ago, I saw some kids discover a big cyan patch I knew about. After freaking out and high-fiving for a few minutes one of them left and then came back with a paper shopping bag and harvested the whole thing right in the middle of the day, visible to all, giving no fucks.
It almost made me wonder why I try to be so stealthy about things. Almost.
