I have been so worried about the patch I found in my signature. I met two other pickers there after watching this patch develop over the past 2 weeks. First sign of other people finding that spot and I was terrified they would rape it. We harvested all matures and covered with leaves before we left. I came back 4 days later to find they haven't been back!! I left some for you bro, thanks for respecting that gorgeous patch!
Side Note:
I probably shouldn't use chlorinated tap water for making spore slurrys or wetting cardboard for stem butts should I?

No not really, its a a little too dry for most actives. You can probably find lots of Panaeolus cinctulus but if you're looking for Psilocybes you should probably head towards the coast. It's also against the rules here to ask about specific locations. Please read the rules and welcome to the shroomery.

Compare your Bolete to B. edulis var. grandedulisand. Compare your other mushroom to the Lactarius deliciosus group.

I'm so stoked that you do this, and you just inspired me to do the same. Thank you

Hopefully my next round of azzies drops some spores. I got a print from a single tiny one that came up when moving dune grass. Some were far past maturity.
I did find a Gatorade bottle with what appeared to be spore solution in it along with a bowl. I can only assume it was spore solution and someone bailed on rangers since they and the coast guard have been everywhere in some areas. Picked it up and threw it away, didn't want to risk damaging the habitat by pouring some unidentified concoction all over the environment.

It sounds like you Oregon hunters have it pretty rough down there as far as the fuzz goes. I seem to always read stories about how they go to great lengths to catch us down there. True?

To be honest I drove 4 hours to one spot, then an hour to another state, and spent a 3 day weekend to try and get some. I walked away with a quarter dry. It's getting tiresome hearing people complain about hunting east of the cascades south of PDX. Everyone is going far out of their way that I've spoken to, and I ran into a surprising amount of pickers in broad daylight. It must be bad, some people in Washington were from Eugene.
Outside of that to answer your question, I was checking out an area just for historic beauty and on the other side of the river saw people being watched by rangers. I went to one park and a ranger pulled into the lot and tried to sneak in without me seeing. After looking through binoculars and seeing LEO observing pickers, I'd say it's pretty bad. A few people mentioned in passing at some other areas that there were arrests recently and just leave. Whether it was true or they were protecting patches I cannot say.

Wish I could get photos of the other 20 or so clusters like this, but can't risk it on a weekday! But literally thousands of pins in one location.

The tourist season is also over, and some places have historically been hotspots.. yes it's that time of the year but some conditions haven't been right in some areas. I couldn't believe I spotted a ranger using binocs while using my binocs. I couldn't stand to watch it and there's nothing I could've done to help them with one at my back and one behind them. They wouldn't have heard me anyway. Coast Guard is also preparing maneuvers in many areas now that people are mostly gone, a lot of fly-bys. Sorry to derail but remember guys, just because you don't see someone doesn't mean you aren't being watched. Stay safe everyone, as all hunters deserve to come home safe, sound and unscathed at the end of every day.
I doubt it has anything to do with recreational.. honestly I'd rather see more citations for smoking cigarettes in dry dune grass or for littering than picking a few mushrooms.
Maybe it's both who knows.

Since it's the actives thread..
This is the little guy who popped up while I was moving the grass away. Felt bad but classic psilocybe azurescens.
