Topcorn said: I wasnt expecting to find much today, but then i spotted these among a large patch of rust/brown spore colored mushrooms. At first they blended in with the others, then i realized they were some fat ovoids. The three big caps in the center top are each palm size!

Then not far away i spotted these, some beautiful mature cyanescens!
 so perfect

Hundreds of pins coming up nearby, three or four patches in the same small area are awaiting the rains. next week will be booming!

and bonus, finally have one 'pseudoaztec' open its cap and drop spores! Strange how the little experiment in a jar has produced the healthiest mushroom.

Hey Top, do you know if these ovoids fruited in this spot during our most recent Spring season?

Finally found some pins today, as well as evidence people are messing with spots too early. Hope they last long enough to mature a bit before someone picks them. Things are starting to pop up though, that's for sure.

Glad you had fun. I love hunting. But I don't see any actives in there. The Cyan-esque mushroom looks to be Galerina Marginata? Definitely don't want to eat that one.

thanks man. I put the stem butts in some soaked cardboard and try to grow some mycelium so I can sprinkle the cardboard in my yard...probably not the correct way AT ALL but makes sense in my head so Eff it. I was just gonna throw em away probably anyways lol
