Well today on my way home I took a quick detour through a park nearby where i had found scattered patches throught the park last year.  Basically all of october it has not popped so I forsure thought it was donezo haha. But to my suprise and my hunch due to the rain it was in full force fruiting! Even found a new patch while I was at it!
Old spot (looks like it just started to fruit again):

P. cyanescens do really well to camouflage themselves in fallen leafs. It has always seems weird to me that some mushrooms stick out like a sore thumb in their habitat where others hide in plain sight.

Nice find :congrats:

Soaked this patch and covered with plastic while away for a couple weeks to Oregon. I came back to a small flush just in time for Halloween.

Found tons of different mushrooms growing in Oregon just nothing active. Looked around the Corvallis-Albany area but nothing. My cultivated patches over there also had no fruits just mycelium poking thru the chips. Great finds so far everyone I'm surprised nobody has posted any liberty caps yet or maybe I've missed them.

I haven't seen any actives outside of irrigated areas but with these recent rains they are sure to come.

We've had a really dry season in the mid-valley heretofore. Hell the grass is still yellow/brown in most areas.

Hahaha just bump some slayer they'll migrate away! cartmaaaan brah!

So found a gym patch today not sure what they are though. Was in my bitch of a neighbors yard so only got this one nice shot of them but they have black bruises?

Thought It was blue stains from a distance. So not sure if they'd be active or not...

Then noticed the slugs seem to like to just eat the gills off my lil friend surprised there's no bluing, they must bite pretty soft.

Hit up my Bothell patch today...decided to take some advice I got from Fryersquest which was basically...if the habitat looks good...and lots of indicator species...scour dat shit! And sure enough...what do I find? Another patch!

but wait...there's more!

Leaves were doing a good job hiding them

Also found this loner with a bite out of him

Going to try and start some new patches as well

I just found a patch in a highly-visible public area while I was on my way to a different patch.

Lots of big mature cyans. I might have to do a selective culling tonight. This picture shows just a small area, I can see the cyans are spread out pretty far under ground cover and leaves, so I'm interested in exploring a bit. Saw some pins too, right near the sidewalk. I've seen plenty of hunters around this area, so I don't think these will last very long.
