Probably the most gnarly cyan specimens I have ever seen/found. Got the spore slurry going to inoculate more local wood chips.

I found out today that my mega patch was raped today. It stings just a little bit more to know that the person who raped it is a guy who saw me picking....he didn't earn the spot or say anything to me. He was with his kids so I assumed he wasn't going to pick. That is a lesson learned the hard way. Assume that anybody will pick your patch after seeing you. Except for really old people....also most women seem to be uninterested....but not all.
That's all generally true, but there are a lot of young women like me that pick all the time. Your right tho I see mostly young to young adult guys. Usually its super obvious if they are dressed all grungy and seem dirty. Lol and tweakers are obvious... Yelling across parks. Couldn't be more obvious. Too bad some people don't look the sort but do pick. I just don't pick in sight of anyone, I'll suddenly start talking about the plants in the area with my boyfriend and try to look casual

Turns out I'm now sharing a local patch...

Thanks whoever you are for such a polite harvest. One bit of criticism though, you snipped a pin in haste, no need to rush you're well hidden there. Otherwise enjoy!
And sadly I started a patch with a friend last year, asked him the traditional I'll do this with you if you don't come back here without me. Well he hit me up and said hey I stopped at the place you dumped all that stuff out last year. Look what I got! and showed me a bag of babies...
I just told him few days ago stop picking babies, he said oh I won't don't worry...
Learned allot about that friend thanks to mushrooms, they teach us in so many ways!

the other day on the way to the post office the night after it rained I found huge wood chip beds with literally fucking craters dug into them with mycelium at the bottom. not a single pin left, so so so so upsetting:(

Decided to make my trip to Seattle. I found a ton of cyanescens out in the open about 100 ft from my car. Got this pic of a nice cluster, most of them were almost too far gone

How do you make it? Just mix them up with distilled water?

I think someone may have stumbled upon my Bellevue patch, if you smoke swishers and don't rape patches...and stumbled upon some rather obviously hid cyan patches ...hit me up....also thankful that you (or whoever) didn't rape them.
Also found this bad boy in my friends backyard in Bothell

Ok, I have lots of those right now.. A lot of what I found was dying so I want to make slurry out of it. Just wondering if there's any methods anyone would recommend because I've never made it

The simplest way is to make spore prints on some tin foil and scrape the spores into a jug of distilled water. Just spread that in wood chips as you please and some might take.
You can also remove the stem butts from some that still have myc, put those on some wet cardboard in a container that is open for air, and they'll spread to it. I've started several patches in Portland parks with this method. It's all about spreading the love.

My first big patch! Was there on Wednesday afternoon. North Seattle. The felling you get when you stumble on your first big patch of Cyans is intense! Whew! I think I started sweating knowing the weight of the trips to come. I left 50 times what I took in pins. This has to be someone's patch right? Im treading lightly! And spreading spores! Going to try the cardboard/stem butts too! LOVE YOU ALL!

-------------------- These pics are the same spot, 1) wide angle 2) half zoom 3) full zoom 4) close up of clusters Can you spot them in the first pic?

Nice find flower! Isn't that pulse race and sweat awesome? That feeling can't be beat and is what the hunt is about!
