Hunting is fun, finding is awesome, taking pics and posting em here the best!
Picking for any reason is a personal choice, and so is being jelly...
Found a lone specimen growing from a solid gravel embankment today while teaching a buddy to hunt. Wasn't what I meant to show him but super cool any how! Never seen this habitat!

My phone died and his had 5% could taken pics of this lil guy all day if we had juice. I love how thick the myc was in the dirt!
End of the day only found a few dozen or so nice matures in a reserve near by. Gave my buddy most of em, then stopped at a few buddies on the way home gave them the rest. Felt like the mushroom fairy all day bringing people joy. All because this lone lil bugger got me so excited!
FQ sorry to hear that was a beautiful place, but what I showed you will become the new mecca!

Definitely, found some choice AZ's...The Cyans look blue enough to me, gina greenish though. I think it's cos they are old. However, This is my first hunt in the NW, and have only previously hunted Cube's in the Southeast. I am in love with the PNW so many specimens. The cubes have taught me well And Oh boy when the patches flush again

Finally getting around to posting pictures from the trip topcorn and I made to the coast last weekend. Had lots of luck with azurescens and cyanescens. Sorry for the absence of habitat shots of mature azurescens. Pretty much all of the biggies were in spots that were pretty public and or buried deep within the grass.

There were so many Amanitas around, these looked like someone had dropped an apple or a tomato on the ground.

Also had good news to share on the home front. Two patches I attempted to make in parks a few years back are fruiting this year! One got rechipped as soon as it started to pin which is freaking awesome. Hope it blows up in the next few years. The other is looking super healthy. Unfortunately it's obvious that someone has found it already because it was covered with leaves when I checked it last. I'm glad they're respecting the pins and hope that we can share this patch and no one gets greedy. Since its a public park we can only hope, but hey my main reason to put them in parks was for people to find anyhow. Here are a few shitty pics I took in haste the other day.

The fruits are looking super healthy!

Someone went to a park here with what looks like a trowel and covered the entire grounds. It looks like Caddyshack. They hardly left myc and uprooted like 3 to 4 inches deep. I'm not pissed someone got them first, I'm more upset someone did it in this manner. Dug them up like weeds. I doubt this place will see them anytime soon. It's disheartening to see a park riddled with holes where mushrooms used to be. There's 3 tiny baeos here. What is wrong with people this place looks disgusting with dug up dirt all over the place.

Dys said: I think I just found my first cyans on my first hunt. Central Oregon, in a spot where old wood chips used to be. Smells like someone dropped a bag of flour in the kitchen and it went everywhere. A slight slimy feel at first, more than other mushrooms.
There's pins I'm leaving because I'm a nice person (actually I think they were going for spawn there's so many holes).

Sorry if it's not cyans, or active, I don't know whether to be excited or if I have a bunch of trash in my pocket.
No, sorry
