Checked local known spots.
One of last years was rightoff the sidewalk growing in tall grass mixed with wood chips. Allenii was found there.
Local park looks mush to dry. Dug for mycelium, no find. Did find few non.actives.
The amanitas still no signs.
Eugene.

I've noticed actives aren't fruiting much in the Central Valley yet. Maybe this week of rain will make them change they're mind but in my experience I don't think they'll pop until a cold snap, that is at least cyanescens

Good day hunting today.
Early on I set out for a bit only found some gyms and few cyan pins. Gyms looked nice in the rain though
 Lil slug was in heaven
Met up with beta checked on the stunzii we found
 They matured nicely!
And then we set out for cyans, found few lil ones here and there seemed like it was gonna be a slow day. Headed up to Seattle to take a look at a few places I'd scouted.
Found a few nice patches. Wish we could of taken pics of three phatty matured fairy rings but they were so public we were approached by a picker while trying to make a smash and grab over the fence.
Then met an older gentleman in a park we just went through, he seemed cool, told us that if they have black on em they'll give you the shits... Offered him a few he said they were past prime he'd rather not. He likes the flat ones.
Then we found a cool few smashing themselves under a log. Crazy natural bluing already.

Ended the day with few more small finds, all in all it was a killer day. Thanks again beta it's always a pleasure!
Everyone else looks like they're doing well too!

Was going to one of the cyan spots that I know of and still haven't found any but on the way to it we stumbled across multiple patches of P. Stuntzii in a grassy area in Woodinville. here are some best pics from them.

I have had very little time lately but I had an hour to spare so I stopped by a spot and the rain really helped them out.

Tall grass cyan with 3 chunky friends.

These have finally started really popping. I never mess with them but they really are majestic mushrooms. Classic toadstool right there.

I can't wait to get a few hours to check out some of my spots after that rain.

Last year I did a time lapse of psilocybe cyanesens drying
This year astas bucket fruited before my garden so he was able to get the first time time lapse of them growing.
But I still gave it a shot. Sadly my charger burned up in the last rain, was hoping to get it rotting away too.
In the first few frames you can see it's lil bro get chowed down
Least I got a bird's eye view of pin to mature. Next time I get a chance ima try again.

Can you see the pattern?

The non-Psilocybes in here are the most Psilocybe-ish non-Psilocybes that I've found. I think they're some kind of Stropharia/Leratiomyces. Any thoughts?

Does the pattern go, immature cyan, immature cyan, not cyan, almost mature cyan?
Cool comparison but try and let em grow up a lil more, they barely got a chance to bust a nut all over the ground, those gills are so pale still.
