And now, now you are a true actives hunter
Almost every one of my big finds was a "wait a minute" moment on the way to the car or an appointment.
Nice find by the way!

Hi Shroomery, long time lurker, first time poster. This is my first season back in the PNW after a couple years away so I have been excited for the season but I haven't had a whole bunch of luck so far. I have found a handful of small patches, and pins here and there, but no fully developed mature patches. I think the places I have been searching (mostly parks in the South Sound around Tacoma) are well-known and patches get harvested down to nothing and destroyed. The spots aren't like I remember them to be a few years ago. I thought after a couple of days I would have some luck today but I spent a few hours walking around in what I think are great habitats, and didn't find any cyanescens.
Any advice for a struggling cyanescens hunter?
Also here's a pic of the biggest patch I have found thus far, I found it a couple of days ago:

Thanks! Nope, I didn't run into anyone else today. I actually didn't know how to handle myself when I found them so I just walked away and waited for everyone to leave the area.

I wish I could find Baoes more often. I still haven't seen them more than the one time. Plenty of Cyans still so far.

My buddy called me saying the patch we found yesterday (large) was being raped by a ranger . I went to confront him, but was gone by that point. Super lame, I wanted to ask if he had a DEA license.

My area is booming. Pan cincts (and foes) are literally everywhere, my apartment looks like this every foot or 2

These Cyans are at my apartments as well.

That's crazy a ranger would pick the mushrooms. You'd think they would leave them.
Anyways, I have found quite a few new patches this last week cause works been really slow. Ended up stopping in Seattle today and happened to walk up on another hunter and chatted with him. He showed me some spots that he knew of and I tried showing him one I knew of in that park but we couldn't find it. His name was Jose I think.
We found a few small solitary ones and he spotted some nice big ones but we didn't find anything amazing. We noticed a lot of other people looking and even an old couple were looking haha!
