both of them.
Went for a night pick out in bf Egypt. Pulled in to park in one of 2 spots and border patrol were parked in the other. They acted cool. I jumped out with my dog and jokingly asked them to watch my truck. They laughed as i disappeared down the dark trail. They left soon after and i wasn't sticking around to see if they called the local law. Had to leave many nice fruits behind. I did grab a few waiting to see what they were going to do. It's crazy how many border patrol us customs and dept. homeland security you see up here. They even have a motorpool with 5 or 6 full size busses with bars and shit on the windows. Who they plan on putting on all those busses? Us? Crazy shit.
Anyway. Everybody is killing it this season. Looks good.

What is up with the habitat in the first picture? Old chip bed that has been left alone? And that is one hell of an amazing patch in the last picture. I will counter with this:

A family was nearby this patch and the two kids were messing with the mushrooms about 100 feet from the cyans. They all started walking towards the patch and I nearly panicked. But one of the kids started running and they all went to catch him and then continued on....crisis averted.

Spots that have woody debris under grass are great. It's holds so much moisture and allows fruiting bodies to get enormous. Plus sometimes they are easily disguised and overlooked. Nice patch there fryer! Those look super healthy.

This is all I have found in Vancouver, Wa. Last year was epic in Grays Harbor county, but it's looking like I'll have to hunt a little harder down here. I am living in pdx and have found nothing here so far. I'm trying not to get discouraged though since I read that a few of you are making finds in pdx. I'm hoping this little spot will start pushing more pins soon. I took this picture a few days ago, and I'm planning to go take another picture or two today.

Also, I went and checked a couple spots where I planted some cardboard spawn from my Grays Harbor cyans last spring, and noticed some mycelium after moving some leaves off the chips. I put the leaves back and backed away very slowly. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will fruit later in the season.

Saw a few (2) hunters today on my dog walk. Wonder if they had any luck. Almost felt like back tracking and telling them they're about to walk up on 2 patches of cyans.
In the off chance they will post here; 1 girl, 1 guy. I was with my black dog in red harness, i had orange laces on. An old lady asked "Are you looking for mushrooms?"

Found this morning walking to my car, all the hours I've spent hunting and my first find is completely on accident!

Going to go check my special patch of p. allenii tomorrow. I hope it rains so no one will be out. Also, going to check the football sized blue ringers patches that I know of. So I should have some good photos tomorrow.
fingers crossed
