Nice little P. Allenii patch I was surprised to find fruiting. It's getting lots of regular water from a sprinkler system so it's well ahead of some other spots. Very happy first find of the season here.

"The patch" continues to produce huge clusters. I have now gathered all I need, but I continue to conceal its existence under piles of leaves. These mushrooms are just too beautiful. As I was collecting these tonight using my headlamp and flashlight, I watched a Seattle police cruiser roll by slowly. I continued snipping with my scissors the whole time. Just too much fun!

nice finds!!!!!!!
Made a few discoveries in the last week. Two mini Cyan patches that I left alone And my biggest find yet!!!

This was my haul, leaving many behind

Love this little cluster. Only reason I pulled em is for cultivation to help spread the species

the things ive noticed is those micro climates. My patch from last year is struggling to fruit while this one had a great flush!!!

ACB Thanks for the video. That shit was tight. The season is seeing the full spectrum from Dump truck loads to pillage and plunder. I'd say it's on. Great stuff Pnw People. "Night Hunters" True story: One year i was watchin a nice spot and waiting For rain and temps and so on.....(You no what i"m talking about.Willis.) Well this spot also happened to be surounded by look alike galarina pins. When it came time for me to go check the progress and potentially collect I found somebody had picked all the galarinas and left a bad ass led mag lite. Ive allways wondered if they were ok. It was just odd. you would think you would need your light to get out of this spot.I guess in the thrill and excitment of the night score he wasn't thinking straite.mabye he ran out of pockets, bags and sacraficed his hand to carry more mushrooms and left the light behind. your guys's post about night hunting made me remember that. If somebody is reading and this sounds a little close to home, I still got your light if you want it back.
Shit i pretty much work until dark everyday so I'm down with the night hunt. Tonights mini haul. Tip:Don't over camouflage your spots to the point it's unnatural That will just draw the unwanted attention your trying to conceal. also on hills while picking. your foot prints become cup trenches and stand out in contrast to the undisturbed chips. smooth that shit back out. your cigarette butts stand right out also to the trained eye.Have a great and safe weekend. You 2 did take pics of the same log. Look at the 2 green leaves growing out of the crack in the wood. Same bug died in the same spot on the right mushroom too!

Can you post a separate identification request? I'd like to see what the consensus is when multiple people identify it.

the lightning- I posted the gyms here in this thread a few days ago. I didn't pick them though. I've seen gyms out there in a few places. The first few I had looked at here were said to be luteo or similar.
Here are the original ID pics

I guess spraying spore solution really works! Just looked in two of the wood chip patches where spore solution was sprayed last year and both had larger patches than I have ever seen before! Good thing the city park dudes just put a bunch more wood chip mulch there too
Whoa! Way to Go! If you don't mind me asking, how did you prepare your spore solution?
