Yesterday was a good day. These came from the same spot that was pinning a while back. They came in in a big way since the rain hit, I can't wait to get back out again.

I have been posting on mushroomhunters, but am having issues posting pics here. At any rate, I will continue to try. Today I feel like poop because of this stupid MS medicine I just started, but I am going. Wish me luck and see you all on the flip side. Also-is there an edible thread, yet? Cheers!

First little cluster of the season!

I know it's your personal grow you can do what you like. But I recommend the first lil flush you just let rot to ensure patch health. I read somewhere the rotting flesh has enzymes that encourage spore germination. Those were practically there already.
Nice job cultivating though!

The thing about my sissy umbrella is it allows me to sneak up on cyans disguised as another harmless mushroom. This allows me to snatch them before they retreat down their carefully constructed ground tubes.

The torn up mycelium from my pots that were destroyed by wildlife were laid down in a planter at home and covered with new chips. Though it would decide to colonize instead of fruit at this point but it's pushing a few up. First fruits at home ever so I'm pretty pumped.

I don't actively hunt much. But when they're growing in your back yard it's hard to pass by.
BTW, Nice to see you guys

Went out today on our first hunt this season and certainly didnt come back empty handed. Found some innocent little cyans growing at the edge of woodchips and grass. This is the second patch ive found So im pretty excited but both my spots arent producing fruits like Mr.Piggie, and im also in the willamette valley. Hats off to you sir!

There was no sign of bruising untill I got home later. Check it out.

Last thing is to do a print but i mean come on...those are cyans!!!

Hey yall! Need an opinion on some shooms I picked today at my friends horse pasture!!
Description- looks like a silver with a light gold areola. The stem is hollow but no bruising. The gills are black on some and Grey on the others.
Found another two that are gold on cap.. stem bruises still waiting on spore print!
Would appreciate any type of advice..

Nice clusters and fat pin sets today. It's nice out in the rain. Everyone stays indoors. Shitty shitty photos but you should get the picture(No pun intended). Lots of impostors amonst one of the spots.

What area or state did you find these in? This is not an ID request thread so please make a new one in the future.

So just to illustrate how a little watering and some rain can help.... Before:
After:
I also found a new cyan patch today....I almost missed them....but this one is the gem of the group and hopefully in a few days will be a beast:

I wish I had cyans that grew this clustered:

Species Found: Gymnopilus Luteofolius ~ Panaeolus Cinctulus ~ Psilocybe Baeocystis ~ Psilocybe Cyanescens ~ Psilocybe cyanofibrillosa ~ Psilocybe Semilanceata ~ Psilocybe Stuntzii

For a brief moment, before slugs came and ravaged the land, this dear little cyan family thrived.
