I'd respond in the weather thread but no one else did.  If he is just taking a batch to trip he should be allowed to choose his mushrooms.  He found em...  However we don't want to make it a habit just going to all patches daily taking pins just to get them first.  I like eating fresh smaller compact mushrooms once in awhile too!..  Actual tiny pins should be left though.

Nice finds!!!!

Yeah, I think most people were just busting his chops.  Obviously there is a huge difference between a noob clear cutting a patch before it's ready to harvest and an experienced picker taking a few choice specimens for a trip.  When harvesting for tripping rather than printing, we harvest cultivated cubes right as the veil breaks or even a bit before, so why wouldn't it be the same for wild patches?  Leave some ripe ones and real tiny pins for others who come along and for spore dispersal and it's all good.  Next week should be a good week in Portland, things are finally coming together.

Looks like I get to put BC up on the board this season
I found, ID'd and harvested these all the while juggling an umbrella in the rain and talking with my mom on the phone. I thought they were stuntzii at the time, but now that I look closely, I don't see the blue ring on any of them. The stalk is chunkier than I was expecting too. Could this be baeo?

Damn that's a nice cyan haul!

Went to Bremerton to visit a friend, she and I took a walk to some local parks to take a look. Found few nice gyms. Some nice bruising too!

Pretty sure they're luteofolius cause they're were some rotting monsters. And they got kinda purple flesh.

And only found a few but some nice cyans. long stipe on the one, suckers were hiding pretty well.

So I just tested my gym finds with my psilocybin test kit, and got some interesting results.

The solid blue to the side is a cyan test.

The test says purple for psilocybin and blue for psilocyne.

Seems interesting that the gyms would show the psilocybin reaction more than the cyans. The cyans had a very vibrant psilocyne reaction.

Wonder if that means it just breaks down easier in cyans than gyms.

Heres a link to my new hunting tek using the same test
