Sadly the gyms I had found have all died. I did find more Cyans today though pinning nicely but no big growth yet where I am at. I do wish I had a better camera though, my pint and shoot just isn't cutting it anymore.

Nice find, are you near the coast? I think after next weeks 5 days of potential rain in WA in OR the season should be in full effect.

Beat me to it MJK
For the future when asking for ID's it really helps to have a close gill and stem shot a lot of the time.
Also if you want actives look for purple or black gills as those are the two most common genus's with actives.

I've been looking for cyanescens but not finding any yet. It just rained today so I'm really excited I'll hopefully find some soon. Is Anyone in King County having luck?

Awesome, can't wait to see some pinning in any of my regular locations. Hopefully today I can get on board with some 2015 cyans

Sorry about the shitty pics, but I just stumbled across these cyans in the most public place possible so I had to make it quick. Nonetheless my first cyans of the year.

When are they right to harvest? I've found a bunch of pins but nothing of substantial size and I don't know if I should wait till they get bigger or take what I can. [url=https://files.shroomery.org/files/15-40/349375374-IMAG0681.jpg] [/url

For cyans, ideally you'd wait until the caps start to wave. If they dry to the point where the caps start getting shriveled, you can pretty much pick them because they probably aren't going to grow any more. That's my thinking, anyway.

Nice find. The ground looks pretty damp there. Everywhere I'm looking the ground is still mostly bone-dry.

I'd reccomend mobbing on a bicycle if you've got one and checking public places with lots of irrigation.

I wish, maybe one day if I get over my paranoia of driving/ other drivers
It rained last night though so I may go take a stroll today, definitely plan to hit the coast soon either way.
I do have a bike so I will have to start getting out n biking around. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely check some irrigated parks
