Maybe it's just me who likes being inconspicuous, warm, dry and having the ability to glide through sedge, pine and brambles unhindered. You can cover a lot of ground quickly. If you've got disposable income for an investment in outdoor gear that's going to last and be used for hiking and for work I don't see an issue. To each his or her own. I rather like degearing in literally a minute, looking like everyone else, and bringing my finds to the comfort of my warm and dry home.
The list price on that gear sucks.. being a member shaves money off, buying gear now on clearance as off-season saves money, and they have holiday discounts. Think about the gear you want next year and snag it on the cheap when no one else is buying it.
They truly do help being light, quick, unhindered, unencumbered, and you can just start jogging on a path and look like a dude going out for a run. I've had to dip out of some areas really quick through thick and shitty brush. I also noticed people are more receptive to me now than the random crap I had laying around. You can literally fold them into sandwich bags. Also if things get hot and you get stopped, you no longer fit the description of the person in question and never saw anyone in black rain gear foraging around.

Whatever works tho, eh?

Yeah bro I know how it is almost went down that path myself but got out of the lifestyle when all my friends were going to prison or dying. I hang out with everyone saints or sinners alike. Sometimes u gotta give people a chance sure I was iffy about the guy at first but I can handle myself and he turned out to be harmless. I'm pretty good at eyeballing too it turned out to be 11.5 dry

Looking inconspicuous is always a plus. Picking chant's is a whole other ball game and the severity of being caught. WSAsian. When doseing. Eyeball or scale?

Thanks guys, it was funny cause jailbird buddy said his friend hunted the area for 3 hours and only found like 30 I came out with like 3 times that in 2 lol must be doing something right. I usually scale it out but I find my friends tripping in 30 minutes and I get pissed and just start eating a couple of freshies and diving my hand into the cookie jar so I eyeball a gram or two extra I just say fuck it if I get bad trip vibes I always turn it into something positive. I'm taking a couple week break before my next trip. I ate an 8th with my girl the other day and barely felt it she was tripping balls. I felt like I could literally feel my brain frying, so yeah I'm taking a breather. Still down for the hunt tho! Happy holidays everyone.

You're darn good at what you do bud, and you picked it up right quick, which is totally awesome. I was worried for awhile there since you jumped in the season late and that Thanksgiving frost and the other one might have put you out. I'm so glad things worked out and you're spreading both the love and the myc. That's pretty baller, man, I'm thoroughly impressed with both your studies and your knack for banging these out!
You're a good dude, keep up the good work and nature will reward you for years to come. I hope the lady is well; please tell her I said hello, and Merry Christmas to you both.

I did this last night on a whim. Hey you win some you loose some. Of course, this was after my annual Santa suit/Go-cart Hot laps around various locations in town.

Here are the pictures ya'll requested. Seattle is still alive and kicking. Amazingly large late season flushes are the bees knees.
