Not a huge haul, but we found these on a casual walk near the beach on the Oregon coast. Didn't go to hunt, but once we saw a couple we started paying attention.

The azzies have dicked me down good and proper every time with them. Classic psychedelia, the awesome down to earth way of tackling problems you didn't even know you had, and the dull swirly visuals that make everything look like pastels. ^Dys sorry to hear about the bad trip buddy, I've had myself a good few of them and I know the horrible doomy feeling all too well.

My theory has been for years to not waste time and potential larger flushes hunting anytime other than a waxing moon. You'll find them but if conditions are right they will always be in full flush during the waxing and especially full moon. If the freezing holds off until xmas, there should be one hell a of a flush under the tree.

One of the lesser hazards of hunting: be prepared for public bathroom facilities to be locked up for the winter! Today, the worst happened - I could not find anywhere private enough quickly enough. And the less said about what happened after that, the better.

Nice.
I learned that lesson a long time ago and don't go hiking/hunting without a roll wrapped up in a ziploc bag.

Found these guys within a few feet of each other in pine duff. Mixed collection or just different morphologies of allenii? I never found allenii before last year and now I see them more than cyans.

Now would probably be the best time to look for pelliculosa, especially in clear cuts. Check gill color and look out for Galerina.

Speak for yourself! I've never found a big patch. So, like the tortoise in the fable, I hunt all the time and bring home whatever small hauls I can.
Also I'm a lightweight, so half a gram is a good trip for me.

I've personally tripped way too hard off a gram and a half of freshly dried cyans. I'm sure that you could feel half a gram.

1.5g Dried of ps. cyans feels similar to 3.5g of cubes, I took .5g a couple weeks ago and it felt close to 2 grams of cubes..

put it this way: coming down now from what was about level 2. From 0.2g i took three hours ago... being "sensitive" is very economical

Yep, im the same way. My usual cyan dose(depending on the patch/strain) is .5 and that is most certainly bordering over half an 8th of cubes.. very effective. Almost level 3. The most ive taken (besides eating a bunch due to having a high tolerance) was a little less than a gram. That reminded me of a full 8th of cubes. Very physical!! I could see the "woodlovers paralasis" thing happen on a higher dose...I was seeing faces in the ground and was completely turned around in my own neighbourhood.... that lasted for 7 hours.... trippy as hell!!!
The idea of a gram and a half of cyans sounds like a "heroic" for my body and the way it reacts to the active chems. Makes me think about native americans and their low tolerance to alchohol, due to their lack of alchohol use in their genes.
Maybe some people come from an ancient line of psilocybe users, so their tolerance is naturally higher....

You know, as far as this goes, I understand now why you all homogenize them. I crossed an item off my bucket list and ate a single azure out of the ground. Gorgeous caramel, solid, felt good in my hands. Perfect weather and pellicle still on that little beauty. I thanked it and never tripped harder in my life. Thank god I had weed and music with me.
I was passing through Grays Harbor county today. The rain broke a bit east of there in the pastures and older clear cuts. So many groups of hippies with paper bags. What would they be finding? Cyans in the older clear cut and maybe pellies? Subbs? But that doesn't sound right I mean it's mid December.
Check out this multiple species collection. They're in an area in which all of the psilocybes trying to (what appears to be) beat out a huge area of gals.
I "figured out how the universe works" on these.

Dys. Super Trifecta. And you said you were done for the season. I knew better. And If You Don't No? Now You No! Welcome to the PNW. Around here. We believe,if you eat the first mushroom (the ones your searching for of course)you find. "They will start to show themselves and appear seemingly out of nowhere." I'm a believer! Believe That!
