Better hope he's willing to get you some since you'll be hard pressed to find anything.. and you better try and find what you can asap.

Just got a text awhile ago from someone on the NW Oregon coast. Some of the pins I left made it, others aborted. They're still surviving and I'm not surprised since they've been known to fruit into January.
If it stays above 32 and there's warm rain you guys might find them through Thanksgiving. I think if they freeze again though you're screwed. I wouldn't make any special trips to go out of your way for them though (e.g., heading there expecting a huge score because you didn't get cyans this year etc). They're few and far between and also a lot are old, or passed over by other pickers. Fruiting into Dec/Jan means they still live but doesn't mean they fruit prolifically.

I had to delete some off topic posts as some of you might already know. Hopefully the thread can now continue. Sorry if any on topic posts were deleted. I think only one was.

Just made my first trip to the coast and it looks like I had some pretty good timing. Nice little haul of azures and some amanitas that were too big not to share. The biggest one was 13" across lol

Went out after work to check a spot and found this monster. Picture doesn't do it any justice! The biggest I've found all season.

Tell me to delete this if not allowed.
Any of you experienced wood lovers want to weigh in on the "wood lover paralysis" issue? New to Cyans but had some weird effects myself, wondering how big an issue this is.

Some people experience it, some don't
I've never had it happen, but some of my friends have.
There's another thread about this going on in MH&I right now.
