No ovoids this year, no pelly's yet and still never found a lib and I actually attempted this fall. Also tried hunting for cubes and pan cyans...no luck. Oh and my stuntzii patch is dead.
The season is not over no need to destroy a patch. No matter how Much we pick it will never be enough. The sickness is real...

As for weight 3.7 boats
Libs can be easy to find if you know a farmer who won't shoot you on site.

At least it's a real thing and I'm not going nuts... well, heh.
3-3.5 ounces boys and girls, barring any discoveries or fortunes today. Not that bad for a new climate, a new species, and new landscapes with a bad back and limp.
Wish I could've done more cyan hunting.
I hope those of you who haven't found anything will open your car door at Walgreens and find a few pounds.

I went to my patch and saw several pins blueing in the cold, I assume they're all shocked to death, but
Warm water might help?

I really am praying they are going to survive this cold snap we have coming. I made 2 new cyan finds today and I only hunted for about an hour so that was cool. Some cyans in the grass with chips about 6 feet away:

And this is one of multiple patches in the mega patch:

There was ice on some of the cyans so I am thinking that they may not grow much bigger than they currently are....would you guys pick those? Wavy margins but not the kind of upturn that I like to see in maturity....
thats fucking incredible.

Anyone else get freaked out by dry ones that are hard to identify, even if you know what you picked were cyanescens?

Also, what did you mean by "the wild forest cyans are starting to make sense?"
Knowing they are near the coast, Cyans are fairly naturalized there.

Noob here. Second time out yesterday - I found a good little patch of Cyans (correct me if I'm wrong!) in woodchips underneath a big Rhododendron bush. Didn't get a good spore print but a quick rinse before drying got everything purple (again - I'm probably ruining this cuz of newbie status):

And Liberty Caps (right?):

Yeah, saw tons of frost in burnaby areas. Season coming to a close soon.
Could be a good idea. If your spot keeps on getting pillaged or destroyed it would be nice to have your own private patch for next year.
