With Kratom getting more and more popular, there is alot of propaganda, negative media attention and misinformation going around. Visit the newly created Kratom Den, lets crush the media lies and get learning!

I took a look at that forum; not my style.
To anyone with a genuine interest in kratom, I would recommend registering an account at kcforums.com

Why join a forum for just a specific thing when you can have one forum for many things?
That's like Youtube making a separate site and account for different subjects.

Because kcforums is filled with knowledgable people, and in regards to the subject matter is a better community. There are people there who have been involved with kratom for 20-30 years. There are many people who know cultivation, vending, use, etc. There are dedicated activists there. Really smart people focused on one topic.
But that's beside the point; you overlooked a key phrase. I said that site is good for anyone with a "genuine interest". If you've got just a fleeting curiosity, I'm sure the UCF Kratom Den is suitable. It's definitely a good place for Bitter Cactus to hone his trolling skills. Good for noobs, but anyone with more than a passing interest would do better to just join kcf.

Kc forum is not even that great.
I don't get why they call using kratom "burning" and the effects are the "aroma".
Those little code words piss me off. They need to get over it kratom is a drug just like any other.

They use phrases like that for the sake of the many vendors that post there and interact with the community. It's a great thing, being in constant communication with the vendors, knowing what products are incoming, what is best, what kind of deals they can cut. You know how much free or deeply discounted kratom I've gotten? Just having access to their perspectives on the business side of things makes having them around wonderful.
However, they cannot post without people using those "code words". The vendors' whole business is contingent on the premise of "not sold for human consumption". As soon as they start interacting with people who are blatantly discussing eating kratom, their whole safety blanket of plausible deniability goes out the window and the FDA can shut the business down, permanently. People were being lax with the "codes" before and Fabi from KD, one of the biggest Indonesian wholesalers, stopped posting at the site. It was a loss for everyone.
But still, the only place the "code words" are a rule is in vendor forums. In any other forum there you can speak as freely as you like about kratom use, but most people do not out of respect for the people who earn their living selling kratom.

That's fair I guess. I post at KC forum too so everyone can do whatever they want.

I missed this statement. ^^^ This is why you don't understand kcforums. To many there, it's a LOT more than "a drug just like any other". You're a noob and a casual user at best. The people over there have a deeper understanding and respect for kratom.

Kratom is my favorite drug.

Re-read everything that I posted. You'll see that I didnt make a statement on my personal views one way or the other, but rather compared your perspective to how many people at kcforums perceive kratom. You're welcome to your own thoughts on the subject, of course, but you view kratom as more of a novelty while the people posting at other sites like kcf are more of a "connoisseur"-type crowd.
Which takes me back to my original post: anyone who wants to interact with people who truly care about kratom should look into kcf. If you're not overly concerned with the quality of kratom info you receive, the ucf is probably right for you.

Weigh your dose!
if its for recreatiol use i'd say go ahead and try it out i had done a lot of research on it before trying it the first time earlier this year though for me i was taking it for it's anxiety relieving effects etc all along the lines of helping myself
well it had some good effects sure but i think nothing can be fixed by putting something into yourself alone even if it feels good at the time, depends on the person thoguh right? and i wasn't doing this totally in that regard but as i have ventured outside totally "sober" after trying this im really not sure it hellped much as i have things i need to work through in therapy which i haven't started yet
but i enjoyed kratom a few mrore times and never forget how it wiped me out on some red vien at first and the effects it had on my dreams, WOW but then decided to leave it alone for now.
