Cactus ID Self Test
    #22186329 - 09/04/15 02:57 AM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Ok guys. I am testing my cactus ID skills so I wanted to post these pictures with what I think they are, and then you get to correct me accordingly!

1. Echinopsis grusonii f. Nudus

2. Ok this one I actually have no idea...

3. Cylindropuntia something or other

4. Echinopsis grusonii

5. Trichocereus spachianus

Enjoy, looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

P.s. I hope the picture order and names match up...otherwise this becomes a different game entirely!

Here's my take:
#4 is actually Echinocactus grusonii. It was probably a typo;
#1 is probably Echinopsis subdenudata;
#3 is perhaps Cylindropuntia fulgida, the jumping cholla;
I agree with #5;
#2 is indeed a mystery and very nice. Good catch!

Lem- perhaps, I see what you're saying but ingoogle a ton of images and came to the conclusion that a,roseocereus images are really hard to find, and b, I think their spines are usually alot longer than the one pictured here?

Brand- thanks man
