Yeah man normally it takes 2 drops but it depends on how dilute your liquid is. More absorbant candies like sugar cubes are better than gummies but its lsd, if you get at least 50mic on it you should be fine.

I've thought of adding fresh mushrooms (or dried) to a solution while preparing gummies.
I dreamt that by factoring for moisture content of the mushrooms, you could adjust the recipe.
strain out all the yuckies and solidify. I'd imagine you would need the equivalent to about 6-8 standard sized gummy bears per dose.

What about oxidation of the extract? You will need to keep it stable long enough to cook with and dose.
Electron donors would work good, one of the AMU guys is testing ascorbic acid right now. Seems to work at least up to a month but I am unsure of the details.
Have you ever seen a solid drying tray in a food dehydrator? They are used to preserve sauces and soups. You can also grind up a bunch of mushies with fruit and sugar and lay this "sauce/paste" into the tray and dehydrate it. Basically makes psilocybin Fruit By The Foot candy
Dried and mascerated mushrooms -> Solution of ethanol and ascorbic acid -> heat to denature dephosphorylase and extract -> distill ethanol to yield aqueous solution of ascorbic acid and alkaloids -> add the fruit -> add sugar -> blend -> dehydrate in top tray meant for liquids.
Someday I want to try this

I wish extracting psilocin was as easy. Cook time isn't long, and candy solutions can't be boiled (at least not long or safely).
Calcium ascorbate is actually a superior option and is one I would suggest as a preservation agent (along with alpha tocopherol).
You wouldn't want to use ethanol. If anything, I would take dry shrooms, calcium ascorbate, and the water for a recipe. Especially a recipe that requires low heat or short cook times and that can be eaten cold.

Great suggestions!
Filtration is necessary too! Totally forgot to mention that you want to filter all the way down to a surgical mask if you want to get rid of all the random crap.
I can't wait for a shroomerite to figure out a long term storage tek for crystallized extracts. Really groundbreaking stuff since research is heavily restricted by the stability.
