I'm in a hedge fund. Apptrade is called the app, executions are fast! Orders are filled in less than half second. Never going back to a broker.

I only trade stocks with good tradable ranges. For example with a 120$ stock i like when they move 5$ or more in one day, not a 120$ stock that only move 20 cents....
I only use technical Analysis of the chart, i don't need fundamental analysis because im not trading long term (like when holding shares for months). Well I never trade without a setup. My entry points got to be flag setups or flat top setups, or any other setup.

I don't want to sound negative, but few years ago I was testing technical analysis. All strategies except one failed. One was consistently profitable, because the guy who made it found an anomaly. Once article has been published, anomaly and profits faded away. Good luck if you have found sound strategy.

You're "in" a hedgefund? Do you work for a hedgefund? Invest in one? Trapped inside it?

www.Bullsonwallstreet.com They educate you and they own the hedgefund, i pay 2500$ and i get buying power of 25000$ (25k), Although the Max loss is 2500$ if you reach the 2500$ max loss they disable your account. If you are a good trader they can give more buying power up to 100K, the commissions are super cheap like 2$ per trade compared to retail brokers that are like 10$ per trade or so. The only thing is that after 100K of profits the hedge fund start taking 10% of your profits. That is the way the owner wins, but its good i'm trading with money that practically is not mine, after 100K of profits you can open a retail broker account if you want or keep it at the hedge fund the commissions are low as hell. Yes the owner makes money with the hedge fund, is the way world works. The orders fill super fast too. For short selling is excellent.

sounds scary man. Them giving you that much overhead really must mean you can slide into oblivion and many do. There's sound ways to go into that and not but you bet your ass people jump into that and buy junk stocks and get totally fucked.
I've maintained a tiny portfolio only for practice so my earnings are basically fruitless but I've profited almost every time besides once. I've missed out on massive earnings which would have netted me 10k+ in profit which had me absolutely crazy the next day. Right now I'm watching GoPro because todays their big day. we shall see. I'm pretty anxious to see if my gamble for the day was pointless or profitable.
when I finish school i plan on investing a lot more then I do now. I really have very low income because I've been in college for the past 4 years and now starting again.

I honestly don't get it. You invest 2500$ and they give you 25,000$ to trade with? There has to be something I'm missing or was I right that if you don't profit you lose your 2500$ investment. I just don't see how that platform is safe.

To join that hedge fund they have to train you first. After they know you have some educational background, you can join. You pay 2500$, 500$ of the 2500 is a educational fee, the educational fee includes educational videos, email assistance, quizzes and all sorts of things.
After taking and approving the final quizz, they'll grant you access and an account to the hedge fund, they'll give you 25K to trade with but your account MAX LOSS is 2000$, you can't loose more than 2000$, if you reach 2000 MAX LOSS they will disable your account. The software they use limit you to 2000$ max loss, there no way you can loose more than 2000$, they will not risk the 25K, they have to put these limitations to your account, is the way they watch their backs. IF you loose the 2000$ is your fault because you made bad trades, that's it.
They charge you 11$ daily fee and commissions, the commissions are super cheap, more cheaper than retail brokers. The daily fee is just a fee they charge you for trading in their plataform, all hedge funds will charge you a daily fee, the moment you make your first trade in the day they charge you the daily fee, although if you make more than 100$ of profits in the day, they will not charge you the daily fee. So my goal is to make more than 100$ to avoid paying that fee, that's easy with all the buying power they give you. The commissions are super super cheap like 1$ for 1000 shares of any stock.
So yeah the hedge fund is their business but if you loose your money is because you made bad trades. The plataform is totally safe, your decisions may not be. I'm not part of their team so i don't give a fuck, not trying to convince anyone.

I'm sorry but you do not work at a hedge fund. You're basically just borrowing on margin.

Here is a neat little website where the guy is showing you his portfolio and building passive income. I have no connection with the site, just thought it would be interesting to some of you. http://divhut.com/2015/12/dividend-income-update-november-2015/
