Liberty cap possibility?
    #22183202 - 09/03/15 01:50 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Hi folks,

New to posting. Lurked for years. I got really good at spotting and collecting Psilocybe Subaeruginosa (subs) whilst living in Australia but now I'm in Europe I'm no longer sure of my local shrooms.

I found these guys in the short grassed area of a relatively overgrown field by the side of a road in Finland's south. It's been raining for the past few days and there was a really nice and hot (in Finnish terms) August. Now it's been averaging between 9-16 degrees celcius, during night and day respectively for the past 4 or so days. I'll let the pictures do the talking as my description of the stems, gills and caps will likely be very sub par for any experts amongst you who might be able to help with identification.

Sorry I've not been able to upload my files within the thread but they went up in my gallery if you click on my profile.

Fingers crossed. I think the one which has a more 'flared' cap is different from the others? It was growing in a different patch from the longer one either way.
