Rye berry grow bags. Bulk sub? Help

Edit: bought rye berry grow bags. Already inoculated them.
Can i just let them grow inside the bags after they colonize?
And could someone link me to a reliable and noob-friendly tek if i decide to try spawning to bulk substrate? I hardly even know what im talking about when i say bulk substrate.

Lol, you can delete it...
I'm just going to mention that during colonization, you do not have FAE that is for fruiting. The white patch is for Gas Exchange (GE)

I see no way to delete the thread myself.
Is it okay to leave the bags in a large closet during colonization? Or should i leave them sitting out in my room

You just click delete. It would be better to ask a mod to move the thread to mush cult forum , its frowned upon to get an answer and delete the OP , because of all the users who search the board for answers.
What you have there is rye grain to be used as spawn, its very risky to inject with spores because spore syringes are almost never clean. Brown rice flour cakes are pretty forgiving in that aspect, and is why those are usually injected with spores.
But it can be done. So once those bags fully colonize what are your plans:? Usually they are to be spawned to a bulk substrate
You *can* leave them in the closet but out in the open, in ambient lighting would be better
Good luck!

The rubber thing at the bottom is definitely for FAE.
The inculation point should be sealed up.
Any questions?

^^^^
And how would the rubber piece be for FAE? Its sealed off. And i taped over it after inoculating.

You would have to at least cut the top open at full colonization to introduce FAE.
Yes, cubes *will* fruit off grain spawn but I doubt you will get a very good harvest.
The white patch is a gas exchange filter. The rubber piece is a self healing injection port. The only way this bag would get FAE is if you open it.

Gotcha. Thanks for that response. Im going to look for a simple bulk sub tel. But it would be nice if someone linked me to an idiot-proof tutorial.

Here ya go man. It's definitely the easiest bulk sub out there.

Thank you, Achillita. Few questions i have after reading that tek:
Does it make any difference whether i boil or pressure cook the water?
The coir and vermiculite doesnt need to be sterilized first...?
How large do the holes in the mono tub need to be?
How do i get the fully colonized mycelium out of the grow bag to put in the tub? By hand? What about contamination?
Is there no chance of it contaminating when transferring from growbag to monotub? Worried i will mess it all up with the transfer.
Sorry if any of these questions seem dumb. Thanks for the help.

just boil the water, nothing else needs to be done beforehand with the sub.
1.5 inches in diameter. When you spawn, just take the colonized substrate out of the bag, break it up and mix it with the coir. Colonized substrate is very contam resistant.
